I struggle to walk towards the ticket booth for the train station, but I continue to walk through the heavy pouring rain. My hot breath is visible as I exhale it out, making me shiver from the dropping temperature. I then pull the handle to a door, and I leap in, leaning against the counter while I wince at the horrible pain in my leg.

"Where are you heading ma'am?" An old guy behind a glass window with a small microphone asks me.

I pull down my hoodie over my head so it can cover down more of my face; I can't let anyone recognize me since I'm wanted.

I can't go back. NEVER

"New Orleans." I say in a deeper voice.

The old man lets out a disgusting deep cough before squinting his eyes. "Y-you're Violet aren't you?"

Fuck! I went across the god damn city and nobody has recognized me but this old man!

I look down. "No I'm-"

"Police!" The old man tries to scream for help, lucky for me nobody's around.

I pull out my gun that I've been keeping under my black leather jacket, and I point it at him.

"Give me the goddamn ticket for the train and I won't kill you." I almost shout.

He shakes a little as he raised his hands up in defeat; only moving one to slip a train ticket under the glass window.

I take the ticket and I run out into the rain.

I'm not going back.

I need to escape.

I need help.
