Chapter Three: Mission Accepted

Sakuras POV

As I peacefully rested with Leo laying next to me I heard my alarm go off. BEEP BEEP BEEP! "Ugh why is it so loud?!" I said as I slammed the button on the top to turn it off. I wish I didn't have to wake up so early especially after being up later than expected

Memories flooded my mind as I remember the events that took place last night with Naruto. Blush began to appear on my face as I felt all the emotions that came with it. How I knew this morning I would see him, and how different it would feel. I started to worry as I hoped he still felt the same as he did last night. I hoped it wasn't the Saki that made him feel that way.

I was almost done getting ready as I heard a knock on my front door. "Who is it?" I called out. "Hey, it's Naruto are you ready to go?" He spoke in a louder voice so I could hear him. "I'm coming now" I spoke as I opened the door. His face lit up as he saw me. I had decided to put on the littlest bit of makeup and to curl the ends of my hair.

"Wow you look great, not that you don't everyday though, but I mean-I" He said while blushing and scratching the back of his head. I thanked him as we headed to the Hokages office to speak to Kakashi. I wondered what this conversation was really about. I hope it is honestly just another update on the other villages and more boring yet important details.

As we got there we saw Shikamaru along with Temari standing infront of Kakashi. "You're late" said Kakashi without even looking in our direction. "Sorry Kakashi sensei, just just had a late night last night that's all" Naruto said with a big smile on his face. I gave him a surprised look and furrowed my eyebrows as I kicked his shin. "Ow god damn" Naruto whispered in my ear giggling.

The whole room was quiet along with stares from Kakashi and Shikamaru while Temari looked away and giggled. Embarrassment set in my face but Naruto soon broke the silence. "So what are we here for anyway?" Kakashi held up a folder with a picture of a archway with the hidden mist symbol. "I'm sending you four on separate missions to the village hidden in the mist. You and Sakura are to help guard the villages south entrance as Temari and Shikamaru will guard the north entrance into the village. They have had different people come into the village seeking "refuge" but instead end up stealing food and medical supplies."

"This is a serious matter because the hidden mist village is one of the main providers of those medical supplies reaching our village along with many other things in exchange for food. If they are lacking both, not only are they helpless and vulnerable, so are we."

"And this isn't something to be done by lower rank ninjas?" Naruto said with a scoff. Kakashi soon reprimanded him with a stern loud tone. "You need to realize something Naruto, in order to get the life you want as an Hokage, it's gonna take more than just fighting in wars, you have to do the dirty work sometimes." Naruto was about to say something as Temari interrupted "By the way, it also means no Sasuke on this trip either, since once again he went all rogue and disappeared again." She winked at Naruto and noticed my face change.

"How do you even know that?" I questioned with a confused expression. "Oh I saw him leaving as I arrived last night back from the sand village, but that's normal for him to just up and go as he pleases." She said with an aggravated demeanor. "Yeah that is him, does what he wants and everyone else should follow in suit" I said with anger welling up in me. Temari looked at me with a surprised expression. He really was so insensitive that not only me and Naruto could see it, the whole damn village could see how much of an ass he still was.

Naruto quickly notices and changes the subject, "I think it's best to say we should probably be getting going right Sakura?"
I snapped out of my anger and met eyes with Naruto and began to feel better, the anger that I had felt was something I wouldn't need to feel anymore, Naruto would make sure of that. "Yeah definitely, I gotta make sure I have everything I need packed, what time exactly are we leaving for this mission Kakashi sensei?"

Kakashi looked up from his papers and said "I want you all to leave before sun down, in fact as soon as possible." "We have separate places right outside each entrance that your teams will be staying in later on tonight. The addresses are in these folders that I will be giving both of your teams. So I suggest you go now to pack."

We went our separate ways and decided to head home to get our supplies, and clothes for our trip. The mission seemed to be rather easy, but with Naruto around, this might be more of a challenging task considering we can't get caught doing anything with each other. I can only imagine the word that would get spread around and eventually to Sasuke.

I knew this was something that was gonna be challenging to begin with, but now I gotta worry about Shikamaru and his big mouth girlfriend.

I knew that I had to make sure that things wouldn't escalate, but what would happen if I was put in a position that it wouldn't even matter if they did?

Naruto's POV

I got done packing up my things and decided it would be better if I met up with Sakura at her place considering how long it would take her to get everything packed, and before I knew it I was at her front door. "Sakura? I figured since I wouldn't take so long-"
"Come in" I heard Sakura say as I opened the door.

As Sakura put away her clothes while sitting down on her couch, I could tell something was on her mind " Sakura, are you okay? Are you nervous?"
Sakura snapped around with a angered face "Why do you think I'm always upset?" I started to feel bad for the trouble I had caused by what I said earlier.  "Because this morning you kicked me and not to mention when your nervous you get quiet and grumpy." I said while looking down with a smile on my face. "As if" she said as she looked up at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Sakura, there's nothing to worry about, Shikamaru and Temari are gonna be on the other end of the city, plus..." I said with a cheeky grin as I knelt down and  put my hand on her cheek. "We always can use shadow clones to guard the entrance if we sneak off" Blush started to form on her cheeks. "Naruto that's risky plus..." I broke her sentence off with a kiss and pulled away "Sakura, you know what your problem is, you worry to much" I said as I rubbed my hand on her thigh.
"Your problem Naruto is that you don't worry at all" she said as she looked at me. "You know Sakura, I know a way you could relax and not have to think about any what ifs, ands or buts." I said as I stood up and walked behind where she was sitting.

"What's that Naruto, because I don't think we have time to play any games right now we have to leave in a few min-" she couldn't finish her sentence as I started massaging her shoulders while placing kisses on her neck. I could feel her body melt against the couch and her head tilt back and I massaged her. As I kissed her neck I could smell the perfume she always wore and couldn't help but become eager for her. I wanted to show her how much I wanted her. I started to put my hand lower to where it was just above her breasts and I could hear a soft moan escape her lips. "Sakura, you don't know how long I've waited to make you feel like this, to hear you call out for me like that." I said as I began to palm her chest.

This was all so fast but it felt like second nature as I could feel her jolt beneath my hands. It felt like heaven when I heard my name softly escape from her lips "Naruto.." she said catching her breath. "Please, anymore and we won't even make it in time for this mission."

I laughed as I kissed her shoulder and whispered in her ear "Thats right, we do have that to do, and to think.... I have you alone for the whole weekend, wouldn't wanna spoil all the fun already."

Sakuras POV

My body trembled as he said that to me. I could feel my stomach in knots and my chest pounding. Who knew he could make me feel like this. "Naruto.." I said while trying to calm myself, "This is a mission and we have to be able to carry it out, we can't just wander off."

"Fine, but you can't blame me for wanting you." He said as he walked over to the door.
