Kylie's POV~
I'm sad that our vacation has come to an end, but I'm excited to see our friends and Norman.
As our suitcases are being loaded into the cars, my girlfriend wraps her arms around me.
"I know we just spent three whole weeks together, but I'm going to miss you." I say. "I won't be far, baby. It's just for a few days and I'll leave my phone on." She says.
Y/n is now going on a small little two day thing with Snow, Fletcher, and Lauren. Something music related.
"I know... but I'm not sure I can sleep without you." I say, a soft chuckle escaping. "I know what you mean, baby." She says.
I pull her into an innocent kiss as there are a lot of people and paparazzi around. The last thing I want to see in the tabloids is a story trying to accuse us of being inappropriate.
"Three days and two nights... then I'm all yours again." She says, smiling against my lips. "When we aren't busy." I say sadly. "I'm hardly going to get to see you." I mumble.
She sighs, holding me closer. I can tell that she knows that it's true. We are both going to be busy. We won't be able to come over to each other house as often.
"I promise you that we'll figure it out." She says. I look up at her, wondering what solution there could possibly be.
My driver dropped her off at home, and I decided to go with her. Although she'll only be unpacking and repacking a smaller bag, I wanted to be with her a little longer.
So I helped her unpack, taking all her clothes to her laundry while she packed a bag for her trip with her friends.
"When will they be here?" I ask as I lay down in her bed. It's not even lunchtime yet. But I feel tired and as if I'm getting sick. Since I'm on the pill and not the depo shot, I still have a period. I should be starting today or tomorrow. That's probably what it is.
"Not till, three or four. We still have a few hours to spend together." She says, sitting at the edge of the bed.
"I'll go down and make us some lunch." She says. I nod my head, yawning widely. I heard her chuckle as she left her room.
I came downstairs, sitting at her kitchen island as she plates the food. "Baby, are you feeling okay?"
"I think shark week is coming." I say, feeling nauseous. Y/n places the back of her hand against my forehead.
"Baby, you feel like you have a fever." Y/n says. She rubs her hand in circles on my back. "Try to eat a little, I'm going to go upstairs and grab you some medicine." She says. She kisses me on my temple before going upstairs.
Normally, when someone is sick, she'll stay far away from them. I'm surprised she's not trying to get me to go home.
She comes back with the medication as I took a couple of bites. Y/n got me a glass of water and gave it to me and the medication.
"Y/n..." I say as she hugs me closely. "Shh. It's okay." She says. Pulling the covers over us. "Y/n, you're going to get sick." I say. "Plus, Snow, Fletcher, and Lauren will be here soon." I say.
"Hey... relax, baby. Let me hold you." She says. I sigh, knowing that I'm not going to win. Scooting into her, allowing myself to feel the comfort and safety in her arms.
"I love you, baby." I heard her mumble as I started falling asleep.
I woke up, stretching out. My hand brushes against Y/n. I quickly looked at her clock, finding that it was nearing five thirty.
"Love, wake up." I say, softly shaking her as I wonder if her friends have been waiting this entire time.
"What's wrong, Ky?" She asks, squinting her eyes as her eyes are blinded by the light shining in the window as the sun is barely setting.
"It's past five... you said they were supposed to pick you up around three or four." I say. "It's okay, baby. Are you feeling better?" She asks, not seeming at all concerned about what I just said.
"A little. I don't feel feverish anymore." I say. "Do you think you could eat now?" She asks.
Y/n sits up in bed. She places the back of her hand against my forehead once again, checking to see if I still feel warm.
"Maybe some soup." I say truthfully. She gets out of bed, and I hold my arms out to her. She lifts me up, my arms and legs wrapping around her.
I'm wearing one of her baggy plain black shirts. It's kind of a short dress on me, considering she's taller and it is big on her.
Under it, I have my pair of shorts that look like boxers. I have several pairs of them, all of them matching her boxers.
As she walks us carefully downstairs, I massage her scalp with my fingers.
"You should call Snow." I say, remember that Y/n was supposed to be leaving.
"I already called her. Earlier. We all decided to reschedule." She says. She sets me down on the countertop of her island.
"Love, you didn't need to cancel. I would have been fine." I say. "I know you can take care of yourself. That doesn't mean I was going to leave you home alone to do so." She says.
My eyes softened as I looked at her. She's amazing. "What if you get sick?" I ask. "Then the two of us will lay in bed all weekend and be miserable together." Y/n says with a small smile as she rests her forehead against mine.
"You hate being sick." I say, running my arms up her biceps and onto her shoulders. Y/n just smiles and lightly presses her lips against mine.
I hum against her lips, pulling her in closer. "I love you." I say against her lips. If I'm contagious, she is definitely going to get sick.
