Flora Reinhold was one of professor layton's assistant who helped during his adventures. She would mostly get kidnapped in the adventures.Somehow she has a birthmark of an apple.Once her mother died,her father decided to make a robot out of her with the help of a guy named Bruno.Flora was scared when she saw her robotic mother,but when she got older,she got used to her robotic mother.In fact, there were many robots in her town that Bruno made.
When her father died,he made a will to find a golden apple to find riches,but no-one found it,except for professor Hershel Layton and his assistant Luke.Hershel decides to take care of Flora,making him her adoptive father.Her uncle wasn't pleased with this,her uncle was Hershel's arch nemesis Don paolo.Even though Don paolo was an evil genius and literally abducted her and impersonated her in one of Layton's adventures,he would be nice to Flora as if she was his daughter.Flora was mostly scared of him,but she acted normal to him because her mother told her to not be scared of him because it would "upset" him.
So now in the present,Flora is eating scrambled eggs that Hershel made for breakfast.Hershel read a letter by the table. "Dad,what does that letter say?",Flora asked in curiosity.Hershel would sometimes show her,sometimes he would not "You know that school I told you about?",he asked.Flora nodded. "Well,you're going to that school.",said Hershel. "What?! You're joking,give me that!",exclaimed Flora as Hershel handed her the letter.Flora read the letter carefully.It read:
Dear Hershel Layton,we accept that your daughter Flora Layton should go to "all girls clock boarding school." We'll meet you at 13:00,be on time mr.Layton.
From headmaster Marie rose.
Flora looked at the letter carefully,thinking it was someone else and they got the wrong mail.But it wasn't for someone else,she really was going to that school. "I'm really going to that school?",asked Flora. "Indeed,that school has a good education system.",said Hershel. "To tell you the truth,the name of that school is weird.",Flora admitted. "The true owner of that school really had a obsession with clocks.",said Hershel drinking his cup of tea. "Does she mean this 13:00?",Flora asked. "Indeed.",Hershel answered. "That means I have to get ready!",Flora said as she ran straight to her room and putted on her dress that she normally wears.Hershel chuckled,he knows that she doesn't have to get ready since it's 09:30.
Time passes as the time is now 13:00.Flora and Hershel are already at the school with Headmaster Marie rose."It's a pleasure to meet you,including you,miss Layton.",said Rose. "I-it's a pleasure to meet you too,ma'm.",said Flora nervously. "Let me show you around.",said Rose. She shows Flora around the school,Hershel's there too,he's just being quiet.While they were walking,Flora sees a girl who has blonde hair,the girl's looking at her and her father.
After showing her around,rose and Hershel decide to have a talk in the office.Flora waits patiently,looking at her surroundings while she's waiting.She then sees that girl again,but this time,she's walking to her. "Is there anything you need?",Flora asked. "Are you truly the professor Layton's daughter?",the girl asked. "Um... well....he adopted me...do you know him.",Flora asked. "Indeed I know him,we met at a Opera where we have to play a game for eternal life.",answered the girl. "Who got the eternal life?",Flora asked. "No-one did.The eternal life doesn't exist.It was all a trick so some guy named Mr.whistler can have his daughter Melina back by switching bodies with the winner.",said the girl. "Oh... Wait,what's your name?",Flora asked.
"Amelia Ruth.I'm a world champion at chess.",said Amelia.
"Amelia.That's a nice name.",said Flora. "Thank you.",Amelia said. As the door opened,Amelia ran fast as a bullet. "W-wait! Where are you going?!",Flora asked as she got up from her seat. "It seems like you're ready to go.",said Hershel talking to Flora.Flora didn't know to tell headmaster Rose about Amelia,she decided to keep her mouth shut until they went to the car.
"Dad?",Flora asked. "Is this about that school you're going to?,Hershel asked as he was driving the car. "Do you know Amelia Ruth?",Flora asked. "Yes,I do.How do you know her?",Hershel asked. "I met her while you were talking to headmaster Rose.She said you met in a Opera.",said Flora. "That's true indeed.",said Hershel. "So...when am I going to go there?",Flora asked. "Monday 9 AM.",Hershel answered. "But aren't you busy that time?",Flora asked. "Yes,but I'm letting Alfendi take you.Remember him?",Hershel asked. "Oh yes,and his assistant,Lucy.",said Flora.
Night came as Flora got into her night gown and Hershel decided to say goodnight to her. "Goodnight Flora.",Said Hershel. "Goodnight dad.",said Flora.Hershel turned off the light.Flora decided to read a book before going to bed.Flora was almost finishing a chapter,but she's getting tired. "Come on Flora... Don't go to sleep yet.... You'realmost finished.",Flora said to herself.But she couldn't stay up to finish a chapter in her book,she's already fallen asleep.
Flora then wakes up in her bed.She looks at the window,but it's dark,and the sun is...shining? "Dad...?",Flora asked in bed.
