I was going to my grandmother's grave to see her, it was the first time I came since we buried her six months ago, and I saw a gravestone in a pitiful state and decided to clean it after I went to my grandmother's. I had to come back to my place to take some soap, a sponge and some water.
When it started to get easier to see the name I felt like a hand on my shoulder as if the person was thanking me.
I did some research about this person and they were known for having helped on one of the biggest discoveries of his time.
I came back a few times afterwards to check if some people came to their graveyard to know more about them but no one seemed to come. There was no one there when I was there and there were no flowers on their grave. I decided to go to the city hall to know if they have a family and they told me that they didn't have children and no more siblings alive, they apparently never got married or had someone in their life.
After that I decided to bring them flowers while bringing some to my grandma. I felt a kind of warmness in my heart when I put them at their grave.
Since I felt a presence with me all the time; it didn't feel bad, this presence felt protective towards me.
I called a friend who was able to see and speak to ghosts because my instinct told me it was a ghost, their ghost. She proved to me that I was right, she told me that they remained with me because I was respectful towards them and they were alone for so long that it was nice for them to feel appreciated even though they can't communicate with me.I let them remain with me because they didn't annoy me at all but at the beginning I wasn't sure if they were telling the truth and my friend told me that it was alright because she didn't feel a change.
They became friends and they remained by my side even after I passed. Since the day I died we can fully communicate without issue.
