I've never been able to finish a novel, even though I have enough imagination for it.
The issue is not imagination but not enough strictness in my writing prompts.
I have a lot of ideas but not enough patience to write all of them and make them better with words.
I sometimes even don't finish what I've started because I no longer have ideas to continue the story or because I've started something else that I find more exciting to write about.
Maybe I won't finish because it doesn't please me enough, I didn't find my way of writing, the story line doesn't seem as good as I first thought.
I love what I write but I don't give myself enough time to write as I could do.
I know I should give myself a writing policy but I don't have time to because it's not my main job, for now ... But it's a good thing because it gives me time to find myself in my writings so, even if I don't finish what I start, it is a sort of exercise to find my way with words.
I even tell myself that I may not be the first one who does that to find their way into writing, everyone has their own rhythm and it is a good thing that everyone does it in their own way.
