Y/n's POV:

Hunter and I were on a date in the Gravesfield Mall, currently drinking Jamba Juice smoothies at a small table. Hunter ordered a Mango-A-Go-Go, while I had ordered a f/j/j/f.

"I'm glad you recommended this smoothie joint, Y/n," Hunter gushed as he took a sip of his smoothie. "This stuff is delicious!"

I let out a breathy chuckle. "I'm glad you think so. Jamba Juice is my favorite place in the mall."

Hunter smirked. "Even better than F/s?"

I felt my ears go red. "Er, nevermind. Nothing can top F/s! Wait- on second thought- Jamba Juice and F/s are on the same level. They're tied."

Hunter took a long, slow sip while I gave my awkward response. "Whatever you say. I swear, you got hyperactive as soon as you saw the new items displayed inside F/s."

"I'm a woman of taste," I defended myself, lightly smacking my chest with my hand. "Anyone would get as excited as I did."

Hunter laughed. "I love how silly you can be sometimes."

Before I could make a snarky remark at my boyfriend, someone tapped my shoulder from behind. Momentarily startled, I quickly relaxed my tensed body, then turned around in my seat. I immediately tensed up again.

It was my ex-boyfriend, Cooper Stone.

"Hello, Y/n," Cooper greeted, pushing his rectangular glasses up the bridge of his nose. "What a pleasant surprise it is to meet you here!"

I could feel myself cringe a little bit. "Hey, Cooper..."

"Who are you?" Hunter asked him, looking a little confused.

"My name is Cooper Stone." Cooper wore a high-and-mighty look on his face. I noticed that he had developed a bit of acne since the last time I saw him. "And who might you be?"

"I'm Hunter, Y/n's boyfriend," Hunter replied. He appeared annoyed just to be in Cooper's presence. I didn't blame him.

Cooper's once prideful face shifted to a surprised one, looking between Hunter and I. "Y/n's... boyfriend...?"

"Yes, so do you mind letting us continue our date?" Hunter requested.

Cooper suddenly became desperate. "B-But, Y/n- I was just going to confess my renewed feelings for you! I want you to be my girlfriend again. Please, I beg you to give me another chance!"

I shot him a glare. "You know what you did, and I'm telling you our relationship is over. I've moved on and so should you."

"But I love you, Y/n!" Cooper grabbed my arm.

Big mistake.

Hunter, upon seeing Cooper's unwanted physical touch, stood up with fiery daggers in his eyes. He stormed over to Cooper then shoved him off of me.

"Don't touch her," he warned. "I will not hesitate to fight back."

Cooper let out a 'tch' sound before stepping away from me and Hunter. "Fine. I'll leave you alone for now."
