2004, a year of many things: The Notebook came out, Mean Girls happened but it was also the year that women finally got a driver in formula 1 to represent them.
Brùna Senna, daughter of Ayrton Senna. Only 16 years old, just won formula 2 at 15, she is a forced to reckoned with but she does it with such class and innocence. Ferrari took a huge gamble with signing a 16 year old rookie let alone a female one, but they sure as hell dont regret it. A Senna and a Schumacher in one team? The others didnt have a chance in the world.
Michael obviously took the 2004 WDC but 2005 and 2006 were Brùna's years and she became the youngest WDC at just 17 and 18 years old, youngest race winner as well when she won in spa 2004, a day she would never forget. Although Brùna does struggle not having any family, her father dead and never knowing her mother she only had her uncle Bruno Senna, she now had a new family.
Kimi Raikkonen became her rock through the years he spent as her teamate after Michael retired, they became almost like older brother younger sister, Kimi always protected Brùna fiercely and she would always be there for him. Together they took the Constructors Championship in 2007 and 2008 and Kimi took the WDC those years, until Braun took 2009.
2010 was the year Brùna left her first team and family to join the upcoming Redbull Racing team with new teammate Sebastian Vettel. Seb was very much like Brùna , same age, same aggression, and simply the best teamate she could have asked for 2010-2013 Seb took those WDC and 2014 Brùna won another World Championship, equaling her fathers championships of 3.
2015 Sebastian leaves to join Ferrari with Kimi and now she is teamates with Mr Daniel Ricciardo. Brùna is in a few words in love with him, and he is just as infactuated with her. They are two peas in a pod and they cannot get enough of each other. They have always been like that, ever since daniel joined formula 1 in 2008 with Honda they have been so drawn to each other. Will they realise that they both feel the same about each other?
