The Austrailian Grand Prix. How exciting a race weekend was. Brùna would never get tired of the atmosphere of a race weekend, it was like no other. It would suck if she hated it though this was her 15 year there.Walking through the paddock with Ky on their way to qualifying, she took pictures with the fans and signed hats Ferrari or redbull hats, she was a legend in both teams. One thing she loved about australia was the fans, Aussies had a humor like no where in the world and they never failed to make her laugh. The only person enjoying the country as much as her was her Aussie. She could here him laughing from the other side of the paddock and it never failed to put a smile on her face.
"Theres my favourite Brazilian lady" Jenson Button exclaimed. He held his hands out and caught her as she jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist. He twirled her around while the Sky Sports crew and presenters watched on fondly. Jenson and Bruna had always had a close relationship much like older brother younger sister vibes, she admired Jenson so much for his positivity and was one of the funniest men she knew, her daniel and Jenson caused so much havoc back in the early 2010s and seb often joined too, Kimi Michael, Nico and Lewis was ofen egging on from the side lines. Those really were the golden days of Formula 1. Now that he had retired the year before he decided to become a Sky Sports F1 presenter as Nico had with Damon Hill and Martin Brundle.
"Now as you can see here we have the wonderful Brùna Senna joining us" Natalie Pinkham said when Jenson let her down but still holding her around the waist.
"Brùna we have heard that you competed in the indy500 during the break and actually won! Is that true?""Uh yes that is true, i think i just got the triple crown of motorsport no? Monaco, Indy500 and le mans?"
"Yes you have only you and Graham Hill have won all of them now how do you feel?" Jenson said, putting on his professional head.
"I feel great Jenson another achievement for the trophy shelves. Only makes me want to do more and inspire more young people, young girls you know? Redbull have even put it on the teamwear look" She pointed to the three little gold crowns sewn at the bottom of her redbull top and also pointed to the cap on her head where the were three more along side her driver number 88, they year she was born and the year her father won his first championship. He always told her when she was little that 1988 was the best year of his life. Brùna finds herself zoning out while the Sky Sports lot are talking about her records and titles and starts to think about her childhood and how it all flipped upside down on a random day in may 1994.
She will never forget being in the williams garage with Adriene, Artyons girlfriend at the time, all Brùna remembers is Adriene putting her hand over her eyes and pulling her to her chest while she could hear shouting and crying around her and then deathly silence. She rarely saw Adriene after that, she went off to grieve at home while Brùna was sent to live with her Aunty Viviane and her cousins. She would love to see Adriene again but shes sure Adriene wouldnt want to see her, she's probably forgotten about her now.
After wrapping up her interview with Sky Sports she ran down to the Torro Rosso motorhome and walked straight into her boys driver room.
"Hey kid, you ready?Max Verstappen looked up at the sound of his favourite persons voice. A smile crept up on his face as he launched himself at her and laid his head on her shoulder letting out a deep breath at her presence. He hadnt seen her since Christmas since he had spent winter break in the Netherlands and she spent hers in Brazil with her bestfriend Neymar, yes Neymar Jr.
"Baby I cant breathe" He finally let her go and started tidying up his room, throwing clothes in drawers and wardrobes clearing the bed so she could sit down.
