"....?"

The wanderer blankly stared at the mechanism who was busily sewing away on her desk with a concentrated expression. She had begun to seemingly practice making expressions even when she was alone- despite how he wondered why contorting facial structures was so important. Thankfully, she didn't mention the overflowing fabrics left by a certain someone.

He was asked by Nahida to check up on Y/n since she hadn't come out of her room yet, but found her working away on one if her many dolls.

A few hundred of them, actually.

She suddenly turned to him and blinked. "Do you think these would be enough for all of them?" Y/n blurted out. There were hundreds of palm sized aranara dolls scattered around her room. Some were skinny and tall with a green hat, some were light yellow and round with a brown hat. "Nahida told me the description of each one.. I hope I didn't miss any." She mumbled. The wanderer only gazed at her creations in deadpanned disbelief. Nahida promised her to take her to meet the aranaras later today.

"I don't think you'll find every single one, those things are scattered all around Sumeru." He informed the mechanism while she nodded in agreement. "That's alright. I have time, I'll find all of them." She insisted. W/n found no reason to further argue with her and lifted himself from the wall he was leaning on. He had an exam coming up, and had to actually study now.

Y/n seemed to have finished at last as she scanned over the puppets and matched them up to the given descriptions of Nahida's explanation last night. She had to clear out some older data to make storage for the new info- but that was alright. One thing about humans is that they cannot remember many things at a time, but they can remember seemingly random pieces of memories until they died. The mechanism assumed they were important pieces of their life that they remembered- such as... What do humans nowadays even deem as an important moment??

Anyways, she poked the needle into a small apple shaped cushion and stood up. "I'm heading over to the village soon. Nahida said she would be waiting for me there." She stated before grabbing a brown messenger bag she bought at the night market beforehand for this trip. W/n watched her with an unreadable gaze as she somehow squished every single doll into her bag... Archons know how she made her puppets that squishy.

"Don't climb onto trees, head straight to the destination. Perceive orders." She rolled her eyes at his last sentence. "Orders received, orders being processed." She never said the latter line anymore nowadays, now that she had begun to develop her own orders and thinkings. But a while back, Y/n explained to W/n that she remembered when someone added the sentence perceive orders when making a request to her, her systems automatically responded. Technically- she could resist it, but in cases like these, she knew it was better to allow it.
