"So now, we have a pretty lady involved in our team?" Tarrip asked. He was staring at Clara.

Turns out her parents wanted the boys kicked out and didn't want to here excuses which was rare of them. Their usually very kind and supportive but apparently not when it came to the princes so Clara left them. She did feel bad but these boys clearly needed her help.

She wasn't leaving the boys alone on her watch.

"Well if you want me too. I'm only here cause I know a lot about first-aid and I know a little bit about computers." Clara said. "Plus these two guys showed up injured at my garden and you three aren't getting far if you don't know basic first aid."

Tarrip nodded, "I do agree with you and these two are complete idiots and it'll be nice having someone actually mature and helpful. These two ain't. And I can help you with computers if you like."

Clara smiled, "That would be amazing. I can also teach you about some first aid skills if you'd like?"

"That would be amazing as well. Those two are magnets for danger and injuries." Tarrip said.

"Hey! We're not!" Morto yelled in defence.

"The king is after you two. You two can't leave much. There was already three chases. You almost got killed by a massive freaking explosion and you almost got captured." Tarrip said. Pointing directly at the two boys.

"I only got injured cause I was in the middle trying to stop my dad from attacking his dad." Zarron said. "I didn't even know he almost got captured."

"That's why I'm late. And how you two got away." Tarrip said.

"I said 'thanks, I owe you'." Morto said.

"Were you hurt?" Clara asked.

"Almost. I missed a gunshot to the leg." Tarrip informed.

"See? He's fine." Morto said.

"By a slight inch." Tarrip added.

Morto was silent for a moment "I take back what I said."

"Did it graze or cut you or anything? If it did, it could lead to infection if not treated properly fast." Clara said.

"No no, I didn't get grazed by it or anything but if you are coming then be prepared for anything. The king will not stop until Zarron is dead probably and Morto is trapped in the castle." Tarrip said, "Be prepared to lose someone or help someone who's injured or even fight. Be ready for anything the king has in store."

"How can she fight? she's in a wheelchair." Morto said. "We have to prot-"

"Just cause she's in a wheelchair doesn't mean she can't defend herself. I used to know people in wheelchairs that could hurt you badly. Especially the women. They were deadly if you angered them. Don't mess with her." Tarrip said.

Clara smiled at him, "Finally. A man who understands."

Tarrip smirked at her. "Welcome to the team then Clara."

"Thank you Tarrip." Clara smiled.

"Why do I get the feeling you two together are gonna be pains?" Morto sighed, "Especially when you bond with each other."

"That's the new plan between us. Annoy you two to death." Tarrip said.

Clara smirked, "Any pet peeves they have? Anything that can annoy them?"

"A bunch. Come with me and I'll tell you all about it." Tarrip said and Clara followed him further in the room as Morto and Zarron groaned.

"Well, we need new pet peeves to avoid that." Morto said.

"Good luck. They'll find out and use that against us." Zarron smiled.

"Why am I getting the idea you have a plan?" Morto asked.

"Cause I do." Zarron smiled, "Let's find out their pet peeves and use that against them. Just not Clara's."

"Did Tarrip scare you about that? People in wheelchairs can't hurt you that badly." Morto said.

Suddenly a book was sent flying into his face painfully.

He want expecting that and fell backwards and landed harshly on his back.

He sat up in shock.

"Watch it." Clara said and faced Tarrip again.

"Told you!" Tarrip shouted over before speaking to Clara again.

"Shut it Tarrip!" Morto called back as Zarron helped him up.

"But I'm not gonna lie. She is pretty." Morto said.

"She is." Zarron also backed up.

"I have had three people call me pretty! In the last two minutes! That's more than in my life! Keep it coming boys!" Clara said with a laugh.

"I like her guys! She's got a humour unlike you!" Tarrip shouted.

"Again shut it!" Morto yelled.

"Never!" Tarrip cackled as he and Clara continued talking about them.

"Oh come on." Morto sighed.

"What?" Zarron whispered.

"Their gonna be pains. And we have to work with that." Morto said.

"So? Tarrip is working with us when he should be thinking about his home planet and family that he can't see ever again and yet he's making everyone laugh. Clara gave up everything she has ever known to come help us. She fought her parents for us. The least we can do is let them annoy us and not get in their way." Zarron said. He walked over to Clara and Tarrip and joined in the laughing.

Morto simply walked away and up a flight of stairs to overlook the view from a nearby window.

"I am gonna protect them. Even from you, father. You will not take away my only friends." Morto said to himself as sun slowly setted and the warm orange glow over the trees slowly began to fade.

The stairs and moon slowly but definitely overtaking the sky.

Soon enough, the sun would come and reclaim it's light in the sky.

A new day was fastly approaching. That meant a new day of preparation for the war to come.

And hopefully it can be the end of a thousand long war.

Soon. Nothing ever happens fastly.
