III: Head Bakugos

Third POV

Izuku sat at one of the inoccupied seats in the computer lounge, knowing soon enough he'd have to pick the kids up from their gym class.

Just then he heard footsteps behind him, looking over to see Haneyama approaching with an unnerving smile on her face.

"Is everything okay?" Izuku questioned, standing up from the swivel chair, and exiting out of the attendance log.

He had to admit he was still a bit nervous about everything.

"Everything's fine," Haneyama nodded, gesturing for Izuku to have a seat as she bowed her head towards him, "The investigation is canceled and the accusations have been dropped."

"We owe you an apology."

Izuku was gobsmacked, blinking incredulously as he let out a surprised gasp, "I don't get it.?"

"I mean, obviously I'm happy Riku can come back to be one of my students again and relax as normal, but I don't understand..?"

Haneyama took a seat across from him, happy to explain, "Well, what happened is parental control override."

"During the preschool sign up or any transfers, to have insurance we requested that one or both parents depending on who is more involved had the option to sign up for parental override, so say in the chance the parents are going through disagreements, no matter how small or big, and the child or staff member gets in the middle of it because of one parent, the other parent can choose to override the former's demands, so long as they have two other veritable people, who are typically emergency contacts."

Oh.

"I see," Izuku nodded, understanding Katsuki might've used that instead, "Do you mind me asking who overrode?"

"Mr.Bakugo," Haneyama confirmed, "this is supposed to be hush-hush, but he insisted that Riku was fine and gave supporting details that you had nothing but his best interest in mind,"

"He even said he'd donate more to completely drop the accusation against you and get Riku back to your class once the period bell rings again."

Izuku made an 'oh' shape with his mouth, looking over to his phone that he had left off.

"I'm just glad all's well that ends well." Izuku nodded along, putting his hands up in a defensive motion, "I wasn't worried for myself than I was for Riku and Hiro."

"They're always so close together anyways, so for them to be separated on my own accord is heartbreaking."

Haneyama shook her head in agreement, "Once again we do apologize, I know there was some here and there talk, but I'll see to it that the rumors are cleared up on your behalf."

She then stood up, giving him a smile, "And I do congratulate you."

Izuku raised his brows, picking up his identification badges and phone, "For what?"

"Getting that close with a parent, let alone the top donor to the school," Haneyama hummed, wiggling her brows in a suggestive manner, "Must be nice."
