X: A Day With Katsuki

Third POV

It was a rather strange sight in Sero's eyes.

To see his boss, completely out of work clothes and in something casual and at an arcade of all places.

Him and Kirishima sat by the opening, merely watching in amusement at their boss who held hands with Hiro as they wandered around to play whatever game piqued the boy's interest.

"The boss must really want to be with Midoriya because I've never seen him look so..."Sero trailed off, observing how they stationed themselves at a shooting game.

"Nah." Kirishima shook his head, watching how Katsuki took occasional glances at Hiro and smiled subtly when the boy was doing so, "I don't think that's it."

"I think he actually enjoy's Hiro's presence, maybe even as much as Riku's."

The two of them took their places at the player one and player two stations, picking up the gun sensors and watching as the screen counted down to start.

Given a minute and thirty seconds, the two of them blasted at the multiple targets scattered around on the screen.

When the screen flashed red and said game over their scores popped up on the bar, with Katsuki being significantly higher than Hiro's.

"You're good at that," Hiro complimented, "Riku has one back at the home, so do you two play it often?"

Katsuki pinched his brows, stuffing his hands into the hoodie sleeves of his sweatshirt, "I suppose so..."

"Or..."Hiro trailed off, "Have you had real life practice?"

"I know Hiroto did."

Katsuki remained silent for a moment, before turning over to the small eatery located to the side of the arcade.

"Do you want to get something to eat?" He imposed, holding out a hand for Hiro to grab, to which the boy shrugged then nodded.

A neutral silence took over as they went to grab simple sandwiches, fries and a drink, sitting at one of the small booths nearby.

"To answer your question," Katsuki hummed, "I have."

Hiro nodded, playfully rolling his eyes before muttering under his breath, "Of course, he has...where else would Riku learn..?"

Katsuki leaned back onto his side of the booth, looking at the boy who stared down at the table, "Did Riku tell you?

Hiro shrugged, "Kinda assumed for myself for a while before he gave me the truth back at the water resort hotel, yknow the night of the incident?"

"But, I kinda pushed him to tell me so please don't be upset with him, and I haven't told anyone other than you from this point."

Katsuki slowly nodded, "I trust you on that..."

"Do you want to tell your mom?"

Hiro twiddled with the paper that came with his straw, "I kinda get the feeling he already has an idea, but he doesn't want to say anything because we're happy at the moment."
