IV: Chosen

Third POV

"Wow!" Hiro's voice echoed inside the new bedroom.
Decorated to his taste, both Hiro and Izuku alike were stunned at how nice it came out.

His little eyes lit up as he belly flopped onto his king sized bed, decorated with sheets that had his name embroidered on it.

He looked around for another second, sliding off the bed as he looked to Riku who leaned against the door from with an intrigued look on his face.

"Sleepover?" Hiro questioned, looking down to his friend that made eye contact with him when he rolled off the comforter.

"Sleepover." Riku nodded, giving Hiro a small smile before turning away to his own room to get dressed for his training.

Walking back to the doorway, Hiro hugged his dam before turning over to Katsuki who merely stayed quiet and observed his reactions.

"Thank you, Mr.Bakugo." He thanked, bowing his head, becoming relatively timid.

Katsuki gently rubbed his head and patted his shoulder, "Enjoy your new room."

Izuku and Katsuki walked away, whisked into the primary bedroom to leave Hiro to his own devices.

Izuku pressed a kiss to Katsuki's lips, giving a smile to the enigma.

"Aside from hanging out with Riku," Izuku started, "I don't think I've seen him smile that hard."

Izuku bowed his head slightly, "Thank you, Katsuki."

Katsuki hummed, "there's no need to thank me."

He then scratched the back of his head, "I can't help, but get the feeling he doesn't like me very much."

Izuku made an face, standing on his tip-toes as he brushed back the man's hair.

"Everyone takes their own time to adjust," Izuku mumbled, "Especially considering the last time I was with someone else."

"But, I can assure you he actually does like you."

Izuku walked toward the closet where some of his stuff had been placed, prepared to start changing out of school attire.

"Although, now Riku's dam has made it clear she doesn't like me at all." Izuku bluntly stated, watching Katsuki roll his eyes and lean against the wall, "I don't like talking about it, but it's the truth."

"Are you sure your parents won't take it to heart when they finally do meet me on Saturday?"

Katsuki dismissed it with a wave of his hand, "you have nothing to worry about, Izu, they prioritize Riku's interest and his interest only."

"They already know about Setsuna's antics and have chosen to put that aside and focus on what they already do know about you; like the fact that you took care of Riku of your own volition when he was sick."

Izuku paused, "Oh."

"Okay then."

He hoped that was the only thing they knew about, aside from his past, but if Katsuki could do deep research and have many connections, whose to say his parents didn't?
