I got up the next morning readying myself for the plan I had been preparing for years to start. A black tuxedo, hair brushed back, daggers aligned in my waist and my weapons in a bag that I'll sneak inside.

From the books I read, apparently, fairies believed in fate, so I was going to make today feel like fate to them. Today was the day that the war started twenty years ago. I am planning to make my appearance today as the messenger who came here to restore the peace after the world has come to its sense.

I was going to make myself be the person they dreamed of. Fairies believed in happy ever afters, and I was gonna give them one. I am going to be the human who lost his way through the forests but I'm not just any human I am one of the nobles who have been in search of the fairies for so long to make their relationship right again.

I'm going to be the hope that they had wished for for so long.

I went to the kitchen to have a drink, I'm going to need my nerves to calm down for today. I grabbed the beer and chugged it down. "Wow bro. Where the hell are you going looking so damn sexy?" My roommate Jake cheered as he entered the kitchen.

I chuckled and shook my head. "I'm leaving for a while. Be sure to take care, Kay?" I patted his shoulders and turned to leave. "But where are you going?" I shrugged and waved him a goodbye as I left and got into the carriage I was gonna ride.

"It's going to be a long journey, huh?" The driver pointed out as I looked through the window and at the gorgeous view. It's too bad that the war that's about to happen soon will have to ruin this place.

After a long journey, the carriage finally stopped. I stepped out and took my bags with me. That's it, the walls of the kingdom which contains the people I despise most.

I stood in front of huge walls covered in trees and plants. They did a pretty good job covering their gates up, except that today, their doors were open. I hid my weapon bags in some place by the walls under plants and walked towards the gate. I am going to act as a prophet who has been working with the royal family his whole life to find where the fairies resided and restore the peace once again.

Today, the gates of the kingdom have opened since twenty years. Finally, my goal of life was about to be achieved. I walked to the gates, and the guards stopped me.

"What's your name, sir, and which kingdom do you come from?" The butler asked to check the list of guests. I faked a polite smile and spoke. "My name is Oscar Alienor, and I'm from the human kingdom." As the words came out of my mouth, everything happened so quickly. From the butler dropping the guest list to the guards coming at me and arresting me and then sending me to their cells and keeping me hostage.

"you're not going to speak of anything, are you?!" One of the guards yelled at me, and I tried to keep my calm. Truly, in situations like these anger issues, they do not help at all. "I have requested to meet the king, but it doesn't seem like you're going to grant my wish, so I won't grant yours." I was beat up very badly when they were taking me into the cell, and I'm so furious because of that.

"You rude bastard how can you ask for something like that?!" I could tell that the guard was as mad as I was, but I could also see the nervousness in him. They're scared of us. Good.

"What's going on here?" Someone came into the quiet basement. He was the king. You can just tell. Shoulders straight as a line, jawline sharp as a knife, his head raised high with fancy clothes on him. He looked so old. Way older than I last remember him.

I looked into his face and gulped down my anger. Curling my hands, I looked him in the eyes and bowed my head. "This man here is a.." The guard paused for a while before continuing. "He's a human, your majesty.. however, he refuses to tell us how he got here or the reason as to why he's here unless it's to you, your majesty." The king winced his eyes, twitching then looked me in the eyes.
