                          Mazen Archer

Once upon a time there was a kingdom where fairies lived among humans. Everyone was happy and life was peaceful however, the human king one day decided that it was enough peace for the fairies and wanted to take over their kingdom and land. He started a war by killing every fairy that existed in the human lands in brutal ways, he spread ugly words and sent flyers of rewards that whoever kills a fairy will be handed a big sum of money or even a noble title. The commoners started going crazy and every human killed their neighbour fairy, even the ones who were married to one.

However, one day came a boy from an unknown village and stood bravely in front of the king. He told him that he would like to stop this war and killed the king in front of everybody and thus was assigned king himself. The boy stopped the war from going on however, the fairies were all gone. Whoever survived went back to their unknown kingdom and till this day no one knows where the fairies live.

Or that's the story I heard growing up. Because I, Mazen Archer, knew the truth.
The truth of these crude beings who were able to assasin many of the royal family with the support of another human traitor who wanted the kingdom and its power to himself. Our current bastard king who was the reason of cooperation between him and the fairies to kill the royal family who used to rule our kingdom who I was a part of. And steal our royal bossesion that proved we were the royal family. However the fairies didn't give that to the current king therefore spread the story I was told since my childhood from the villagers.
My pure, innocent and loving mother believe that this was not the fairies falt but only a few of them and never blamed the kingdom. However I did. I depised them to the point where I've spent all of my life planning for their downfall, searching for their hideout that they have disappeared in for so long.

My whole reason of living so far and my goal has been to join the knight's force; because I thought that the whole fault was the fairies til I realized that our current king was also involved in the assassination of our family so I decided to take matters in my own hands thus, I have been training for years, since I was a kid therefore, once I reached the age where I can submit my resume to the force I refused to go. It has become a useless goal for me so, I kept the piece of information that I found once I turned fifteen a secret and a goal to persue once I grew up and, that was a piece of evidence that the fairy land does exist. I had discovered their hideout that no one ever knew therefore since then I've been working my ass off to practice my archery skills as well as swordsmanship.

So once I turned twenty five I was ready to submit a proposal for the king. I will make you stronger and more powerful that was the plan I was going to him with.

"Mazen Archer, the king has agreed to see you." The butler announced to me as I was standing in the grand hall waiting for the king to let me enter his chamber. The king has been ill and, we all know that. However the whole kingdom likes to pretend not to know. He was getting weaker by each second with a rare disease that the people think the fairies had caused. He had no heirs and the kingdom was going to fall after him and, everyone believed that since the fairies were the ones to curse the king therefore the only people who can help lift this curse were them however, I knew the truth. The king didn't want to find them to lift this curse but to find the royal bossesion my family used to own so that he can prove himself to be the real king and use it to gain more power.

"Good afternoon your majesty." I bowed ninety degrees and waited for him to acknowledge me. "Yes, it's a good afternoon indeed." The king was powerful, he had this aura around him that screamed majestic and confidence but, I wasn't afraid of him but rather disgusted as I looked him in the face. In fact, I wasn't afraid of anyone. I had my principles to follow since I was a child, one: don't fear anyone; they have nothing on you, two: don't do anything so that anyone has anything on you and three: live your life however you deem fit.
