Kyle was taken aback by Riel's outburst.
"Are you putting the blame on me?" Kyle asked, trying to hold himself back.
"Yes, It's all your fault! If you had minded your own business and stopped staring at me like a creep. I wouldn't have been in this mess!" Riel screamed.
"What the hell is wrong with you! I am trying to help you here!" Kyle screamed it her.
"Stop trying and get lost!" Riel screamed at him.
Kyle looked at Riel. He was genuinely trying to help her, and here she was telling him to get love.
When did he really start liking his heartless creature?
Kyle threw the files he was holding on the table as he walked out in anger.
Mrs. Clover has never seen her son in such a state. He was usually cool-headed and proud, but it seems he loses it when it comes to Riel.
Mrs. Clover picked up the files. They were detailed explanations and pictures of Jessica's bullying. After studying them, she took a deep breath.
" I'll say my verdict now." Mrs. Clover said as the principal came into the office with the envelope.
"Riel, it's true you are a victim of bullying, and I apologize for that. But hitting a gold tier student, you disrespected the hierarchy system that is meant to be a symbol of respect, you also didn't report the matter to the authorities and took it in your hands" Mrs. Clover continued.
Riel could feel her heart sink. She did not report it because she wasn't really good with officials. She regrets not telling her teacher or the gym teacher.
"Riel, you would clean the school's cafeteria for a month with no help. If caught, you'll be suspended. Your gold merit of being a genius would be suspended too within that time". Mrs. Clover said.
The fact that her genius medal would be put on hold because of her stupidity hurt her. Her medal was her pride.
"You would also meet the therapist I'll assign to you every Saturday and Sunday for the one month of your punishment, without fail."
It was obvious that Riel needed help to manage her emotions, and talking to a good therapist would help her greatly.
"The workload would be much, and that's why I am giving this punishment to you so that you can reflect on your actions and think twice before you lose your cool." Mrs. Clover said.
Riel nodded as tears welled up in her eyes again.
"Yes mam" Riel said.
"You'll start your punishment tomorrow. Today must have been draining. At least I forget you'll use a brush and a mop. No vacuum for you." Mrs. Clover said.
"Yes mam" Riel answered.
Mrs. Clover took the letter from the principal and gave it to Riel.
"Keep it. It'll help in yourself, reflection."
Mrs. Clover knew that the students who adored Jessica would not let the incident go. They wouldn't bully her directly but make her punishment excruciating timeous.
Riel is about to be pushed to the limit, but Mrs. Clover knows she'll be alright. She has a strong spirit, and Kyle would kill for her.
"Riel" Mrs. Clover called out softly this time.
"Kyle is a dummy, I know it's overwhelming and really new to you, but trust me, Kyle has your best interest at heart." Mrs. Clover said to Riel, who was taken aback.
