PREPARATIONS

Riel couldn't hold off her duties of cleaning the cafeteria. Although Kiara and Reneya have been taking care of it, she felt guilty.

Taking over her chore, she cleaned the cafeteria as she held a small note in her hands, reading the pages.

She was so focused reading that she did not notice the students who came in for their special lunch.

Every Friday was a buffet meal, Riel immediately kept her cleaning gears as she sat down at the end of the cafeteria, memorising some words.

The students glanced after Riel. She was a beautiful mess right now.

They applauded her for helping Imogen, and some actually felt guilty for bullying her just because Jessica had requested it.

Her black hair was in a messy bun, and her appearance was dishevelled as her tie was loosed her socks were different she had a bit of dust on her face.

Kiara and Reneya entered as they found her. Riel is not difficult to find. She stands out.

It's been 4 days since the incident. Everyone has moved on as Imogen was back, and she thanked Riel publicly.

People treated her with more respect, as there are rumours going around that she was in a relationship with Kyle.

She had been here two months, and she's already the talk of the school. The school blogs and website had her name in their mouths.

“Hey future Olympian” Reneya said she hugged Riel without caring she was covered in dust.

“Missed me much?” Riel said without taking her eyes from her note.

“Yes, how is your preparation going?” Reneya asked as Riel nodded.

Riel stood up to say something to the students present.

“I would be competing in Olympian, I really need you guys to take your plates when you are done, so I can clean quickly and study.” Riel said to the students, who stared at her without saying anything.

“Right.....thank you” Riel said as she sat down.

“Riel made a request, didn't she?” Jinho barked at the crowd as they immediately responded.

“Yes…” the students said.

Riel looked up as she saw the three diamonds make their way to their table.

Kyle walked down as he sat with Riel.

“You are so dusty” Kyle muttered as he brought out a towel as he cleaned Riel's uniform.

He arranged her collar as he knotted her tie as she read.

She was like a toddler to him, he wants to look out for her.

Riel smiled as she thanked him.

Reneya and Kira were like fishes out of the water.

Never in this life did Kiara think she would get to sit across Kyle, never.

“Test Olympian is on Monday. The competition is at the end of the month.” Kyle said calmly as he played with her hair without realising.

“Hmm…” Riel answered with her eyes still glued to the book.

“What would you do if you pass the test?” Kayden asked.

It's been five days, and Riel hasn't asked him to dinner.

“When I pass the test, I'll treat you to dinner.” Riel said casually.

Kiara and Reneya, and everyone who heard mouths dropped low.
