DELUSIONS

The day went smoothly for Riel until she remembered that she was under a punishment.

She had managed to keep Reneya and Kiara from asking questions for now.

Walking to the last class, which happened to be PE. Riel changed to the PE uniform and headed outside.

On her way, she saw a girl struggling with her breath. The girl's eyes were red. She was trying to breathe, fighting desperately for help.

The scene of how her mother had died flashed before her. She became paralyzed with fear.

Riel staggered as she fell flat on her butt, flattened by fear. She can not do anything.

Screaming at the top of her lungs, like she had done that day. Riel let out an earth scattering scream.

"Help!"

But nobody came as they were all in the field. The girl's only hope is her. The girl would die if Riel didn't do anything.

Riel's eyes watered as she approached the girl, who stared back at Riel. The life in her eyes was draining slowly. She was barely struggling.

She wouldn't let the girl die, not today. Not today, Riel chanted as a strange energy engulfed her.

Riel ran to the field where her classmates were gathered as fast as her legs would carry her. She saw the person who would make everything better if he helped.

"Kyle!" Riel screamed as everyone was now staring at her.

She ran to Kyle, who was already running towards her.

"She's dying. She can not breathe. She's in the female locker room, Kyle, and you have to help her. Please!" Riel said loudly enough for him to hear.

"Go to the female locker room now!" Kyle said, commanding no one in particular.

The athletic female students ran to the locker room, and others called the school's ambulance.

The strength she had mustered finally left her body as she fell, but Kyle caught her. She had no strength and no will to control anything in her body.

"Riel, breathe" Kyle said, trying to get Riel to breathe.

Riel kept twitching on the floor as she kept on groaning in pain.

Her eyes were closing slowly. Maybe she would finally get to see her mum and apologize about last time.

"Riel" Kyle shouted as medics too her from his hands.

Strapping her to the stretcher, they took her into the ambulance as Reneya followed them.

"Calm down, young master" the staff said as he hit the back of the ambulance as it drove off to the hospital.

Rameese and Jinho caught him as he missed his step.

"She'll be fine" Rameese said

"Call Dr. Caruso" Kyle said weakly.

"I've done that already" Jinho said.

"Turns out Imogen was the girl Riel was talking about." Jinho continued.

"I am tired" Kyle mumbled to his friends

"We know, we got you bro" Ramesse said as they helped him walk back to the locker room

Kyle was so scared. He had never felt so powerless before.

School was over, but Kyle did not wait for anybody.

Changing into his regular clothes, he took his car and zoomed off to the hospital.
