Chapter 25: Dreams and Dresses

With the spring festival behind them, Azrael and Cassiel found themselves on the cusp of a new chapter—graduation. The realization that their college journey was coming to an end brought a mix of excitement and nostalgia.

As they sat on a bench in a nearby park, the sun casting a warm glow around them, Cassiel turned to Azrael with a smile. "Can you believe we're graduating soon?"

Azrael's expression was a mixture of reflection and anticipation. "It feels surreal, doesn't it? These years have flown by, and now we're about to step into a new phase of our lives."

Cassiel's fingers played with a blade of grass as she spoke. "Yeah, and with graduation comes the question of what's next. What do you want to be, Azrael?"

Azrael's gaze turned thoughtful, his eyes meeting hers. "I've always been drawn to architecture. Designing and creating spaces that people can inhabit and find comfort in—it's something I've always wanted to do. I want to make a positive impact on the world through my work."

Cassiel's smile was genuine, her voice filled with admiration. "That's wonderful, Azrael. I can see you excelling in that field. You have a talent for envisioning beautiful and functional spaces."

Azrael's fingers brushed against Cassiel's hand, his touch gentle. "And what about you, Cassiel? What do you want to do?"

Cassiel's expression was a mix of contemplation and determination. "I've always been passionate about social work. Helping those in need, advocating for positive change, and making a difference in people's lives—that's where my heart is. I want to work with organizations that empower communities and create lasting impact."

Azrael's eyes sparkled with pride, his admiration for Cassiel evident in his gaze. "Cassiel, your compassion and dedication are truly inspiring. I have no doubt that you'll achieve incredible things."

Their conversation was interrupted by the buzzing of Cassiel's phone. She checked the message and smiled. "It's my parents. They want to meet up and discuss our plans after graduation."

Azrael's curiosity was piqued. "What do they think about our plans?"

Cassiel's smile turned mischievous. "Well, they've always seen us as a team, you know. They want to know if we're on the same page."

Azrael's lips curved into a grin. "And are we?"

Cassiel's fingers intertwined with Azrael's, her voice soft but certain. "Absolutely. Our dreams might take us in different directions, but we'll always be each other's support. Our bond is unbreakable."

The days that followed were a flurry of preparation for the graduation ceremony. Among the many tasks on their list was dress shopping—a task that turned into an adventure filled with laughter, memories, and the excitement of what lay ahead.

As they stood in front of a mirror, trying on different outfits, Cassiel turned to Azrael with a smile. "So, what do you think?"

Azrael's eyes lit up as he looked at her. "You look stunning, Cassiel. That dress captures your grace and beauty perfectly."

Cassiel's cheeks flushed with a mixture of shyness and happiness. "Thank you, Azrael."

As they gazed at each other, their hearts filled with anticipation for the graduation ceremony and the future beyond. Their dreams were individual yet intertwined, and as they looked ahead, hand in hand, they knew that no matter where life took them, their bond would remain unbreakable—a bond that had been years in the making, now ready to embrace the next chapter of their journey.
