Everything that I hold inside
Everything I think
Without me having to put up a shield
Having to hide what I feel
Wishing I didn't have to do all this
Years of wanting to just let out what I need
To be happy, to be free
To just be comfortable with being me
I'm complicated
But worth every bit of love
I'm difficult to understand
But I want you to hold onto me
While I'm hurting and sad
Even when I push you away
I wish you'd understand me
Show me that you do
The next time you want me to talk
I might give a little more to you.
