Don't hide your darkness
It's just part of who you are
When you're gone
All it does is breaks my heart
I've been through this before
This time you disappeared without a word
I'm left without a clue
Nothing else to do
Just wait for you to come back
So we can start again
I can see the pain in your face
The way you won't look me in the eye
It's the way I can tell you're struggling With something that's bigger than me
I'm hanging on by a string
Of hope, faith and memories
One kiss, one look was all it took
To spark such a wonderful thing
That won't fade away
Even if you try
The darkness is there
Don't try to hide it
I'm not scared
Don't be afraid to show me
I'm not going anywhere.
