I woke up in his car, he was still sleeping. His beautiful blonde locks covered his eyes, his breathing was silent but calming. It felt nice to have someone to wake up with. I started to lean over to touch him, to make sure this was real life but quickly stopped myself when I heard his groan. I leaned back in my seat and quickly pulled out my phone, pretending that I had been on it. My jaw dropped as I saw the news this morning, panic was now setting in. "Colson! Wake up!" I practically screamed, as I pulled my seat up, wide eyed as I read the article.
'BREAKING NEWS, Famous Musician Colson Baker, better known as 'Machine Gun Kelly' has been reported missing. Last whereabouts was at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta GA. Last seen wearing a white long sleeved shirt, a leather jacket and black ripped up jeans. Blue eyes, blonde hair, 6'3 and a half tall, around 170 pounds. If you have any information about the Musician please contact your local authorities. Hoping for a safe return.'
Once Colson was awake I gave him my phone and inhaled deeply as he read it. He laughed it off as if it wasn't a big deal before returning my phone. "Colson, this isn't funny. This is serious. I'm going to be in trouble." I said to him, my eyes now on his, if you saw my facial features you'd know I was pissed by his reaction. "It's no big deal, Akari. I'll take care of it." Said Colson as he pulled his seat up, starting the car. "Look, you won't get in trouble. It was my fault." Colson explained, shrugging his shoulders. I shook my head and leaned against the seat, staring out the window. "You don't get the point. You are famous, everyone is going to hate on me for just being with you. They'll think it's my fault." I said in frustration, crossing my arms like the brat I was. Colson just continued to laugh which enraged me even more. How could he laugh at this? Wasn't he taking me serious? I didn't care anymore, I wanted to go home.
Colson took us back to the stadium where everyone had greeted us. Amazing, just as I expected. I looked at him, less frustrated than I was before. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to lash out at you. I was just pissed because you wasn't taking me seriously and was laughing at the situation." I explained to him, a look of sorrow filled my eyes. Colson parked his car into a parking space and turned off the ignition. He looked at me with that same beautiful smile as last night. "I didn't take it to heart. It was nice going off the grid with you." Said Colson, putting his hand on my shoulder. "It was nice hanging with you, Akari. I'm glad we met. Next time I'm in town we should meet up, go to the bar or something." He added, I knew this was the end of our time. He wouldn't remember me after tonight, he wasn't giving me any options to contact him. I nodded my head and gave him a slight smile. "I had fun with you. It was nice getting to know you on a personal level." I said as I reached for the door handle. As I opened the door he grabbed my hand and looked at me, again, his piercing blue eyes locked right on mine.
"Would you stay with me, please? I'll show you what life is like on the road. You wanted to know what it's like, right?" Colson pleaded, I looked at him with a surprised expression. I shook my head and shut the car door. "Colson, this is insane. You don't even know me." I said to him, his once happy face was now filled with embarrassment and hurt. He nodded his head and let go of my hand, leaning against his seat. "Yeah, that was stupid. I'm sorry, Akari. You're free to go now." Said Colson, avoiding any eye contact with me. I leaned over and brushed a few strains of hair out of his eyes before caressing his cheek lightly. "I'd go anywhere with you, Colson." I said, my tone soft, his face lit up with happiness as he looked at me. "You would? Fuck dude, you just made me the happiest I've been in a while." He said, causing me to blush. All the times Colson's music made me happy I was finally returning the favor. He was happy because of me. That was crazy to me but hearing it made me happy.
As we exited the car together we walked up to his manager, she looked at him in disbelief. They had walked away to talk about me coming with him, you could tell that she wasn't too happy about it but she couldn't tell him no. He hugged the lady tightly once she agreed before he ran back to tell me. "It took a lot of convincing but you're in! We're good to go." Said Colson, causing me to smile widely before I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug. As we hugged he rubbed my back, in that moment I truly felt safe. I never wanted to let this man go, his scent, the safety he made me feel, everything just made it hard to break away from that hug but we did.
We got onto his tour bus, the crew swarmed in shortly after. Colson stopped one of the body guards and gave him his car keys. "I need you to get this shipped back home. Text me the amount and I'll send it over." Said Colson, his body guard nodded and walked off the bus. I looked around the bus, my emotions were everywhere by this point but I was happy more than anything else. I sat down and looked up at the man who was now right in front of me. He kneeled down and caressed my cheek lightly, giving me the same warm smile. "It's going to be good now." Said Colson. I nodded my head and leaned into his touch. "Fuck you, Goodbye, Atlanta!" I jokingly said, we both laughed about it as we waited for the bus to pull out.
