~Chapter Two~

"Auntie Beth!!"

They all screamed and ran to her. And gave her a huge hug. Almost knocking her down.

She turned to me. She smiled and looked confused to who I am.

"Hi names y/n. I'm Bridget's best friend "

I shook her hand. She smiled at me and I returned it.

"Hello I'm the Aunt Beth. It's very nice to meet you"

She said and walked to the kitchen table and sat down. Ellie went to go change her clothes and finish her hair.

Bridget and Kassie went over and sat at the table next to their Aunt. I tried to sneak out before anyone could see me.

Key word, tried but Danny stepped in front of the door to stop me.

"And where do you think you're going."

"Umm. Home I don't want to interrupt your family thing Danny."

"You're a part of this family."

"No I'm not-"

"Not yet at least"

He said with a smirk on his face and winking at me. I rolled my eyes and tried to hide my blush.

Beofre I could say anything he grabbed my hand and sat me down between him and Bridget.

Their Aunt Beth started pulling out some trinkets. From some stores  she got from when she was traveling.

Bridget and Danny were arguing again and I was in the middle. So you can imagine how awkward it was.

But Beth turned her attention back to Kassie.

"What you got there Kass?"

"Her name is Staphanie. Danny told me that this used to be a bank and there was a robber who got  killed here. And if you have change in your pocket. He will hear it and kill you and take your money."

Beth looked at Danny who had a smug look on his face.

"That's why I have Staphanie she can protect me from his ghost and scare him instead."

"Well I don't believe that he will come and get you. I also"

"You don't believe in ghosts.Why not?"

"I don't believe in what I don't see"

She then pulled out a sliver bracelet for Kassie.

"Only the badass can wear anything as cool as this bracelet."

Then Ellie walked in.

"Look mom I'm a badass"

"Can we not teach my daughter such punk language"

"I told you millions of time I'm not a punk ok. And that's why you don't get any girt. Speaking of receiving gifts look what I got for your father."

As soon as she said that the whole room went silent. Danny tensed up and fiddled with his fingers.

I put my hand on his thigh for reassurance. He looked am a gave me a tight lip smile.

"Uh what,did I miss something?"

"Hey uh Danny. Take the girls to get some pizza."

"Ok mom"

We all walked out the house. I walked behind with Bridget. Holding her hand making sure she is ok.

This is going to be a long night.
