Soph's POV:
Surrounding Hope's locker stood Hope, Lilly, Delphine, who we called Delphi, Sarah, and I. We were discussing the same dilemma. Jamie. We stood in a half circle, all injecting things we have noticed. I was coated in a white T-shirt, medium washed jeans, and high-top white converse. Hope wore a white tank top under a red flannel, black jeans, and white converse. I stared at my pair of converse, nervous to talk about the topic.
Mrs. M poked her head out from inside her room.
"GIRLS! GET IN--" she paused, "Please come into the classroom in five minutes." On that note, she went back in, and continued talking. Hope and I have been friends with Delphi forever, and she kind of has an inside job when it comes to this school. It's awesome. After she left, we continued talking.
"Yeah, and people are starting to call her worthless. Just because of that one lunch period," Sarah said.
"Yeah, it's awful. What class do her and Ashley have right now?" I asked.
"The same one. Science. I have it with them. And worse, they are lab partners," Delphi muttered. Fear reflected off our eyes. Lab partners? Jamie must be in complete hell. No one responded to Sarah's remark. We just stared, in silence. Then, Hope peeped up.
"Shit."
