Simon

He ducked down waiting for the bomb to explode. As he heard the explosion he quickly got up, kicked the door open and cleared the room. Shot more man then he could count fingers on his hands, loving the feeling of blood splattering around and the adrenaline in his brain. Living in the high, killing people. This was his thing, and he knew he loved it but not as much as you. He thought a lot about you. What is she doing ? Is she happy ? Does she have someone by her side already ? She must have, everyone loved her. I hope she has someone she deserves. She deserves the best he couldn't but let his thoughts be consumed by you. What he would give to see you again. Every Mission he tells himself he needs to live. He can't die knowing he couldn't see you again. This was what kept him going besides the feelings he had from killing people. The first time he didn't like it. Had plaguing nightmares of the people he killed. But it got easier from time to time. Starting to take a like in it. Loved it.

He swore to himself the day would come where he would find you. He told himself after every mission he would quit the Army. Fight his Demons and find you. Making up for the time he left you alone. But he simply couldn't, even if he would do anything to see you again. He couldn't give up this Job. This was him. A part of him. And he wasn't ready to face you after he left you. Not now. When he saw you crying at the central station when he left you his heart shattered in thousand pieces. He hated himself for it. Couldn't look in the mirror because of it. Hid himself behind his mask never wanting to show anyone his face. It made him vulnerable if he did. Losing the one thing in his live that gave him warmth. Like the sun. Giving him Energy, hauling the demons in his mind away. Make them crumble to dust. Soothing his mind and his wounds every time his father beat him up. Your soft hand caressing him. Nails scratching softly against his skin. Fingers going trough his hair. Making him feel at peace. At home. A home he never had. A home he didn't see even if it was right before his eyes. He was acting so stupid when he left you. He shouldn't have. Ever

Kicking open the next door he didn't saw the shadow behind him. Sticking a knife in his shoulder. He turned around, ripped the knife out and shoved it in the man's cartorid artery, seeing this man go down instantly. He winced a bit in pain, knowing he should see a doctor when he has all the Intel he needs.

Arriving at the base, with more Intel then he hoped for he saw Soap coming his way. Johnny McTavish. A real Scotsman and a pain in his Ass. But he was tolerable. The only one he would consider a friend here. But he couldnt tell Soap that. Never would.

"Woaah did you already saw the new doctor. Real Bonnie this lass I'll tell ya"

That spiked Ghost's interest "No but I need to see her anyway, got stabbed. Overlooked someone on my way, bloody fucking hell" he said to Soap and made his way over to the treatment room. Soap followed him.

They sat down and when the doc came in his breath got stuck Could it really be you ? What were you doing here. He couldn't believe his Eyes. Absolutely flabbergasted. Soap noticed Ghosts Reaction and thought he got shy and all that.
So he took it upon himself to introduce Ghost to her. "This is Ghost, also called S-"
"That'll do" Ghost spoke louder than intended, stopping Soap from telling her his full name. He couldn't tell you now. He needed a minute to let that sink in. Here right before his eyes his Sun. He noticed Your hair was a bit shorter and your body... he could see that you were a real women now. He saw up to your face looking in those eyes where he was losing himself in to many times. You looked beautiful. Nothing could compare to you.
He couldn't breathe. Couldn't believe that this was happening. What were you doing here ? And most importantly, Why are you a doctor? When did that happen ?

Soap was punching him lightly against his arm "Come on Man. You need her to take a look at that"
He got up following. You told him to take a seat and take the shirt off. In other circumstances he wouldn't waste a second but now ? This was too much for him. He obliged anyways.

"What happened Ghost?" She asked worried oh fuck he would die right here if you say his name again like that

"Didn't look out, someone was behind me and stabbed me as you can see" he snapped. As if it wasn't obvious. But then he remembers its you he's talking to. "Sorry didn't mean to snap like that, just stressed out a bit" he apologized.
"I understand this must be really frustrating and stressing. If something like that happens again you now where to find me" she said, smiling at me. Her smile. She sat down and cleaned the wound, inspecting it while it's clean "It's going to hurt a little, I need to stitch that" you said. "No Problem, love" he said not thinking about what he was saying when he realized what he called her.
You stopped in your tracks. Looking at him. Like you'd seen a Ghost.
"Didn't hear that name for a long time" you mumbled. This was his Chance. He could come clear now. He should.

"That's because no one but me can call you that, love"

He saw your Eyes getting wide, whispering "Simon ?-"
