I was shocked, furious, and confused. They sold her to the mafia?! I brought her inside and got her some towels. I was still in shock. I had hoped they wouldn't try to marry her off. I need to find out what happened.
"Bumblebee?" Lucifer called
I turned around and saw Lucifer. He was probably worried that I wasn't in bed.
"Hey, hun, you remember my sister, Gigi," I said
"How could I forget? You scared me, my love," he said
"Sorry baby, the doorbell rang and you were deep asleep," I said
"Its ok hun, what brings your sister here?" he asked
"I'm sorry to show up at your house unannounced, Mr. Morningstar. I just had to see my sister," she said
"Tell us what happened, Gigi," I said
She began to explain everything that happened without leaving a single detail. I was shocked, and I couldn't believe it! How could they do this?!
"You mean to tell me that dad borrowed money from the mafia because they were bankrupt and know this man is forcing them to make you marry his son?!" I yelled
"Y-Yes, I just had to get out of that house," she sniffed
"Why didn't they just get a loan from the bank or something?!" I asked
"Their friends turn their backs on them after what they did to you, and I can't blame them, but to borrow money from the money is a low blow," she said
"I can agree, but I'm confused. If their debt was paid, why involve you in the mix?" he asked
"I have no idea; I don't want to marry some stranger I don't know, no matter how good-looking he is. S-Sis, I can't go back there. I need space from them. Can I stay here for a little bit, please?" she sniffed
It broke Lucifer and me to see my little sister in this state. I thought I was willing to speak with them and forgive them correctly, but after hearing this, I realized they don't deserve forgiveness! I could kill both of them. I was right about them all along; money and Status mean a lot to them!
"Of course, you can stay, Genevieve, take all the time you need," I said
"I have many guest rooms and a guest house if you want your own space," he said
"I can stay in the guest house. I can give you guys some space, thank you sis, and thank you, Mr.Morningstar," she said
