~Niall’s POV~

I slid onto the shore of the tiny island. It was solitary, and much needed in times like these.

When you couldn’t get someone out of your head.

That girl…

She’s been stuck in my head since the second I saw her…

And-unlike almost everyone here-she didn’t know who I was.

It bothered me.

Because I couldn’t say she wasn’t the one.

I slid into the tiny natural spring that was located in the middle of the coconut trees.

I stopped.

I heard cracking…like branches.

I crept through the trees, and there.

The brown, wet, curly hair…with the reddish tint…the dazzling green eyes and the fair skin…her.

Why is she on the island?

How did she know?

I cleared my throat, and her head shot up-she stumbled backwards and onto her pile of sticks. She was going to set a fire.

“Niall!? What are you doing here?!” she seemed shocked, I just laughed.

“I could ask you the same question!”

She smirked, thought things over-the delicately spoke-“I found this island a few days ago.” She smiled warmly, “I thought that no one knew it existed. Maybe it’d be ‘Kassadi island’ or something…put it on a map.” She laughed.

I did too…

Her laugh was contagious. Then she laughed at my laugh. We boomed, and I’m not sure what was so funny anymore, but it was hilarious.

“So, what are you here for?” she asked breathlessly.

I looked out at the setting sun and the waves as they mellowed.

“Honestly?” I turned back to her.

“Honestly.” She confirmed.

I took a step closer to her, and smiled. I looked into her shamrock eyes, emerald eyes.

“I came here to get you out of my head.” I said before grabbing her arms and smashing her lips into mine. She jerked back at first, but then she leaned into me, I grabbed her hips, and she fingered my head. It was a solid five minutes before she realized what she was doing and jerked away.

“Niall…I can’t.” She said, and turned to look at the sun set.

“Why can’t you?”

“Because…I didn’t want to see you again, or text you…because…because…”

“Beacause?”

“Because-I can’t fall in love Niall!” she started to tear up. “I just…can’t.”

She turned away, and I hurt-trying to find the words to say. Caught up on three words…cursed.

“Kassadi.” I said, my throat struggling to make noise.

“Niall.” She said, stopping-not facing me.

“I’m not asking you to fall in love with me, or even like me…but…” I choked.

She turned around to face me.

“You can’t tell me that I can’t fall in love with you.” I sighed, and I strode to her-“Because Kassadi-I think I already have! I didn’t believe in love at first sight…then I saw you. I’m not asking you to love me-I’m asking you to let me love you.

She looked at me. she walked over to me, and jumped, I caught her by her thighs, and she wrapped her legs around my hips, she pulled her head back, and put her nose against mine.
“It doesn’t matter if I wanted to fall in love or not.” She pecked my lips-“I kind of just did.”

I took her to the area with the spring, and I sat her down in the sad, and lay beside her.

“Niall…” she said, nervous. “This is a one night thing.”

I frowned.

“Why?”

“Because-if I love you too much….I’m afraid that I’m going to love you too much and you’re going to leave me.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it.” I said before I kissed her again, this time-she didn’t jerk at all.

She kissed me back.
