||9. Klahadore and Kaya||

"The Usopp Pirates have arrived!"

The door to the restaurant swung open, attracting the attention of visitors to the establishment. There were three boys standing at the door holding various objects as weapons.

There was a long silence, and your five silently looked at the boys and the trinity began to sweat.

"The captain is gone..."

"Don't you think he..."

The boys rushed to their table, stubbornly raising their swords, and the leader pouted.

"Hey, pirates! What have you done to our captain
Usopp?!"

"What did you do to him?!" The other two echoed in unison, standing on either side of him.

Luffy, oblivious, leaned back with a sigh to stroke his swollen rubber belly.

"That meat was delicious!"

"That's right," said Mick, wiping his hands from the red juice after the strawberries.

The poor boys turned white as sheets and Zoro took advantage of this, his voice became very hoarse to play along with his Demon nickname with all his might.

"If you are looking for your captain ... We ate him" - the guy grinned predatory, leaning on the table.
You laughed out loud, banging your fan on the table, causing the boys to burp at you in fear.

"WITCHES!" they shouted in unison, looking at you and Nami.

The redhead angrily slammed her fist on the table, "What have I got to do with it?!"

"Ha ha ha!"

"If our captain had escaped at this hour, he would have been here, aunt," Onion explained, pointing to the high stone wall that surrounded the mansion on top of the only hill in the Gecko Islands.

"Why is he coming here?" You wondered before turning rather stubbornly to the boys as Luffy bowed his head.

"Lie." Carrot replied with a smile.

"That's bad!" Nami scolded.

"He's not bad!" Pepper objected. "He's great! Right?"

"Yeah, he's great!" Onion agreed with a determined nod.

"How does it work?" the blacksmith asked, leaning on the table and playing with the earring with his fingers.

"Kaya, the girl who lives here, is weak and depressed since her parents died of illness a year ago," Pepper explained. "Even though she has a lot of money, she is so sad..."

"So our captain is telling his special made-up stories to make her laugh! Because our captain is the best at lying!"

"Oh, he's so good." Luffy admitted, resting his elbow on his cousin's shoulder.

"So it made her feel a little better?" Nami asked, the boys smirking.

"Yes, much better!" The three boys nodded in agreement.

"I didn't think it worked like that.." You muttered, earning a nod from the navigator. The two of you have been exchanging glances the whole time, as if you were talking thoughts.

"Big!" The rubber boy was delighted, grinning widely. "Let's still ask her for a ship!"

"Luffy, it's thanks to Usopp that she got better." Zoro reminded him and you gave your nephew a weary look.

"You can't just ask people for ships. I understand if there was a carpenter on this island, but there is none here, and you can't just ask for a ship."

"You can't just get in," Pepper warned, pointing to the perimeter wall where armed guards stood at the only entrance. "There are strong guards at the gate."
