I walk out of my cabin tired because that bed is hard as a rock! I see the people who auditioned for Frozen herded around a billboard. Kourtney and Gina start screaming. "Wow, I didn't know your voices could even reach that register." Ricky says.
"What's up?" I say.
"They got Anna and Elsa." Ricky says. I look at Gina and Kourtney.
"GUYS! CONGRATULATIONS" I say and I hug them.
"Plug your ears because I'm about to join them. I can't believe I got..." Ricky comes up behind Carlos.
"Olaf. Congrats, bro. And I'm Kristoff. That's..." Ricky tries to find words.
"A person. Congrats on getting a actual species, Ricky." I try to hold in a laugh as Carlos turns to walk to me. "First Lumiere and now Olaf."
"At least you're a big part of the story" I say.
"I want to be a person."
"You are." I joke. He looks at me with anger in his eyes and then looks away.
"Am I destined to play inanimate objects for eternity?" Carlos whines.
"Make way for Belle, make way for Belle." I role my eyes as Ashlyn comes through. I know we're cousins but Jesus she is annoying. "Make way for.... the ensemble?" I walk up to the casting sheet and look at who I play.
"I am....the understudy for Hans and Kristoff. Which means, I can't be in the play..." I look down.
"There are not small parts, only small actors, right?" Ashlyn says cheering herself up.
"Alright, alright, everyone calm down. Let's just be professional." EJ Says
"Professionally, mazel tov. Especially EJ" Ashlyn says. I walk over to Carlos.
"Personally, I will be backlogging photos of him in antlers for all future possible blackmail purposes." I say and we all laugh.
"Wait, what are you talking about." EJ says.
"Your good friend Val, casted you as Sven, the reindeer." Ashlyn says.
"No, no. I'm not in the show. I'm directing the show." EJ says.
"OOO! Can I do it? I'm not in the show because I'm a stupid understudy!" I say and EJ shakes his head.
"Check the list." Ashlyn says. "Looks like you're joining the list of actor-directors."
" Like Greta Gerwig." Carlos says.
"Hey, at least Jett got a lead." I say. Okay, let me be honest. Somedays, I have Maddox on my mind, other days I think about Jett. That family has some good genes. But you know, EJ WANTS me to be with Maddox.
"I'm just wondering if this is a final list." Carlos says.
"I hope not, I want to be in the show." I say.
"Reindeers don't direct! I've never seen reindeers direct." EJ says.
"Quiet your voices!" Maddox says.
"Mornin' stage manager. You got everything ready?" EJ says, trying to make up for yelling.
"Sure do, rocket man."
"It's newbie tradition camp night folks."
"A night in the woods among the wildlife. And spirits." Maddox chuckles.
