Me and Ashlyn was walking out of my house when EJ started honking the horn.
"Let's go! Let's Go! Last one to the car is a rotten egg. And that's no Yolk." I roll my eyes and try to get into the front. "Nope. No no. That seat is reserved."
"But I'm your sister."
"And Gina is my girlfriend."
"We're all not going to fit in the back." Ashlyn states. He turns his head to our cousin and then turns his head back to me.
"Get in the back weirdo." I roll my eyes again and got into the car.
"Is that Kyra Caswell?" Carlos popped up.
"CARLOS!" I hugged Carlos and he hugged me.
"So, what's the tea." Before I could say anything, EJ turned his head back to us.
"What's orange and sounds like a parrot."
"OH MY GOD EL-" I say but get cut off.
"A carrot." EJ laughs.
"Anyways my tea is that I figured something out." I say and turn to Carlos.
"What did you figure out?"
"I'm bi."
"WHAT! REALLY?!" Carlos says. He hugs me again. "And this is why you're my best friend."
"Just for final headcount, who's not here?" EJ says.
"Big Red's gotta work" Ashlyn says.
"Sebbies's gotta milk." Carlos says.
"Nini's with her moms" I say.
"And Ricky's with-" EJ honks the horn cutting off Carlos.
"We don't say her name. And why are we all going to world's biggest camp for 2 weeks?"
"For a secret celebrity!"
"You said you found a girl for me." I say. Everyone goes quiet.
"You're right, Kyra. Gadget is going to make you happy! Also, I was looking for something like
'WE LOVE EACHOTHER' or 'Go Wildcats' something something"
"Who's gadget?" I shrug at Carlos.
"Gina come on."
"Okay Braids." Kourtney praises. Gina then gets into the car.
"Yes girl." I say. She kisses EJ's cheek.
"What'd you wish for?"
"Well if I told you that, it wouldn't come true."
"Let's go!" The car ride was filled with summer songs, karaoke, and tuns of fake music videos.
We arrive at Camp Shallow Lake.
"Camp Shallow Lake y'all. My second home." EJ says.
"Auntie is going to be mad at you. You called her home 'Your second home.'" I say.
"Don't you have a second home?" Kourtney says.
"No, my second-second home." EJ corrects.
"Come on."
"Seriously, I came to this camp an athlete and became an athlete actor." EJ flexes. "You come to Shallow Lake one way, and you just become something else."
