The Truth of Satanism

Satanism- Worshipping an Evil Force, or a Belief?

What's the first thing to pop into your head when you hear the word "Satan"? An evil devil? A man with red skin and horns? A fiery place known as "hell"?

I bet it was, and I don't blame you. Everyone has been told Satan is evil, and whether or not you believe that, I'm telling the truth on how it has been said to us for years since childhood, whether in movies, church, etc. I'm not taking a side, I'm simply stating a fact, depending on where you come from, but the majority have been told this.

So when people hear "Satanism" they think it is a religion/cult worshipping an evil force. You cannot tell me that was the first thing you thought of when you heard "Satanism" for the first time. I thought so too, but now I do not because I have further educated myself on this. I'm not going to lie to you. I am a satannist myself, but I'm going to try my best to be unbiased throughout this book.
Nevermind my beliefs, let's talk about this heavily misunderstood word, and religion.

Satanism is not very much a religion, actually, and more of an ideology or a non-theistic religion (meaning no belief of a god or over powerful being.)

Satanism is not a religion worshipping the devil, Lucifer, but more the ideology of what he stands for. Satanists believe that Satan portrayed freedom, and self-liberation. They believe because of how he was described to stand up against God portrays justice for oneself. Most of us do not worship the devil, and I do not care if you do, as long as you don't hurt anyone because of it.

And another thing.

Satanists don't perform rituals. We are non-theists, we don't believe in performing sacrifices or anything, we are normal people. Most of us are very nice, and like people if you get to know us. That was very biased, and I'm sorry.

But here's what Satanism is to me, and most of the majority of satanists.

Do whatever the hell you want as long as you don't hurt anybody.
