CW: BLOOD AND GORE
I woke up in a daze, and I could see darkness all around me as I realized that I was no longer in my own bed. I felt a slight panic start to set in as I attempted to move my arms and legs, but I quickly realized that I was tied up. I could only breathe through a straw bag, but after hearing that man’s voice, I could only guess.
I sat up quickly, and immediately noticed that I was tied up to a chair. As the straw bag was ripped off my head, I felt my vision go a bit blurry for a moment as I noticed that I felt blood trickling down my head. In an instant, my body went into a frantic state as my eyes darted around the room. My senses were all overwhelmed at once, and I felt the intense heat of the room, the touch of the ropes against my skin, and the trickle of blood along the side of my face.
In one moment, I finally noticed that I was being watched by a man who looked familiar, but something about him seemed slightly off. His eyes were locked to mine, and I felt my entire body shaking in terror as I tried to make sense of what was happening.
I remember what happened last night, and I realize that I've been kidnapped and put in a dark and musty church. The man in front of me is staring at me with a cold and unblinking gaze, and I can feel the fear rising up inside of me. I try and free myself from the ropes, but they remain tight no matter how much I struggle. I'm stuck here, in a place where I'm completely isolated and separated from the outside world.
I look around the dark church and see nothing but shadows and darkness. The rain outside is slowly falling down, and I can hear the drops hitting the roof once again. The silence in the church is deafening, and I struggle to stay calm. Even though I know there's nothing here, I still feel an overwhelming sense of terror, and I still can't get over my situation or understand what has happened.
I look up at the man standing in front of me, and he seems to be way taller than me. He has fluffy brown hair, and he's wearing a long, tan trench coat. He stares at me silently, and I feel a cold and menacing gaze as I look up at him. I still can't figure out what he wants from me or why he's keeping me against my will, but I feel like it can't be a good thing.
The man's gaze slowly turns sinister, and he gives a sadistic smile once I notice that Cole is in a different corner of the church. His face is bloodied and bruised, and he's tied up in the same ropes that I was in. His eyes fill with fear as he looks up at me, and I realize that this isn't good. I looked between the two of them and tried to ask if he did something to Cole, but the man said nothing. He just stared at me with that same sinister smile on his face, and I felt my heart begin to race.
"You must wonder why we've taken you away," the man spoke quietly. His voice was eerily calm, and his expression remained cold and unblinking as he looked right at me.
"Who are you?" I whispered, my voice trembling with fear. "What do you want from me?"
He said nothing in reply, only staring at me with a sinister glare. I looked over at Cole once again, and felt my stomach sink.
"Did you do this to him?" I asked quietly.
"Cole will not die," the man spoke quietly. "He is bait, just like you. We have planned this all out, and it will all work perfectly. We have the perfect way to lure in the true victims."
"What are you talking about?" I whispered, looking over at Cole again. "Lure in true victims? What do you need 'victims' for?"
The man remained silent, and a feeling of dread filled my heart. I suddenly realized that he wasn’t trying to kill me or Cole. He was trying to kill something else.. Something not human.
"Please, you can't do this," I wailed desperately, yelling at the man to try and make him see reason. "There's no need for any of this! You don't have to hurt anyone."
