CYRUS ACTUALLY HAS REGRET, I LIED
It had never meant to be this difficult, It was meant to be like every other Mission.
Cyrus wished he'd never found out she was his favorite Author. He'd put too and too together after looking at her profile and seeing she wrote all his favorite novels.
Cyrus wished that he'd never checked out her songs. During research he got board and listened to some and fell in love with the whole vibe (and found it humorous every song had an Oboe solo)
Cyrus wished he'd not followed her on every social media platform that he had (which wasn't a lot in all fairness)
He was standing in the parking lot holding Brynleigh bridal style with no current plan
The young woman in his arms nuzzled closer and mumbled something about cats eating dogs or something. He wished she wasn't a beautiful, funny, snarky young woman and maybe a guy he hates the guts of so he could shoot her in the skull and call it a day
But he couldn't there was no way Cyrus could shoot her in the skull dump her body and leave, this was something not even Taylor Swift blasting on repeat while he regretted his whole life
Cyrus knew in that moment he looked like a dumbass. He always looked like a dumbass while dancing according to Juli.
He began slowly SLLOOOWWWLLYY walking towards his car, inching like a worm on legs
He knew he had a small trail of tears running down his cheeks he shouldn't care as much as he did he barely knew Brynleigh but she'd opened up to him about her life and she was so pretty and nice
HIS LIFE WAS SUCH A FUCKING HELL HOLE
More tears spilled from his eyes as Brynleigh shifted closer to him
"hmmmhmh ..... whastss wo-wro-nnng" Brynleigh mumbled into his chest her words slurring
His heart stopped she was meant to be fully passed out for THIRTY MINUTES
How long had he been regretting his plan?
He glanced down at Brynleigh, Her eyes were opened slightly to form coffee brown slits somehow they were comforting so beautiful so calming they made him feel so at peace with himself and his whole life
Brynleigh raised a pale hand, the purple acrylics brushing the tears from his face gently, she smiled tiredly
"Itssss gunna be ok"
Cyrus nodded and shifted her into one arm quickly grabbing a small vile from his suit jacket before readjusting to the original hold
"Here drink this it'll make you feel .... better"
Cyrus managed to open the vial using his mouth and hand it to her
Brynleigh took it, her eyes scanned it quizzically and Cyrus was panicked that she wouldn't drink it. His fears ceased when she downed the clear liquid and dizzily handed him the vial, after a few seconds of dazed smiling Brynleigh goes limp in his arms again
He hated it HE'D drugged an innocent person because HE'D made a stupid mistake
Cyrus needed to get wasted seriously
He couldn't do this maybe a coward, maybe he was charming or maybe he was just a stupid idiot who was having a shit life so far and wanted to make a difference
He slipped the hand under her shoulder blades into her purse pulling her car keys out. Cyrus clicked them his eyes scanning for the lights signaling the car unlocking
Cyrus notices the blinking lights of a simple yet chic dark navy tesla, in a few quick strides the tall male is at one door to the backseat after a moment of hesitation Cyrus cautiously opened the door and laid Brynleigh down gently watching as she instinctively curls in on herself.
Brynleigh looked so peaceful, so adorable so innocent none of this was her fault all Cyrus wanted was to crawl in beside her, snuggle her and just vent tell her everything but it wasn't that simple
Cyrus groaned and gently shut the door turning on his heel
He ran a hand through his bleached hair stressed he knew Magnus would still be working and he had at least one hour to get hammered and cry about his life. That was enough to convince Cyrus as the tired assassin began speed walking to the sweet realise of alcohol
He pushed the door open and retook his seat at the bar.
"Hi just letting you know we'll be closing soon-" Magnus turned and made eye contact with the younger yet taller gentleman "I tolled you not to fall in love with her" He hissed angrily
"Wha-No- I didn't" Cyrus spluttered back
"Sure thats why your ordering a whiskey" Magnus rolled his eyes
".... a double whiskey neat actually"
Magnus laughed "Boy this is gonna be your 21st all over again isn't it"
Cyrus rolled his eyes and began to defend how he wasn't going to get that wasted
But he knew chances were it was gonna end that way
OMG I FINALLY UPDATED YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY don't get to excited
