December 24th [COMPLETED]

YOU THOUGHT WE WERE DONE???

You thought I was done???

Hell no!!

I told you!! I've been writing this character for SEVEN YEARS!! I have SO MUCH FREAKING material to share with you guys.

No freaking joke. I wrote almost HALF A MILLION words for George before I finally settled on her final form (which is the novella you just read).

Okay! So! Here's how this is gonna work! What I've got you for you next is a saga I like to call "George in Retirement."

See, when I was writing Dec 24th, I could not for the life of me come up with an epilogue. I couldn't do it. I couldn't see it.

And then, I remembered! I had already written George's epilogue! Sort of!

Here's what happened: last summer (Summer 2022), I was taking a break from one of my final iterations of George (a biography-type format that you will get to read eventually). I was taking a break because I was severely burnt out on the story. I had a whole bunch written but I just couldn't finish it. This is a common theme when it comes to George, as you'll see later.

So last summer, I needed something to write. Something fun, light-hearted and engaging. The idea of what happens AFTER George retires came to me pretty quickly. I wanted to know what happens to someone after the worse thing that could have happened to her happens. How does George handle it? How does she move on? How does her relationship with Felix process?

What you are about to read is what happens after. This is George's official epilogue. And boy, is it the longest epilogue ever!

That's not a joke. It's seven chapters long and almost as long as Dec 24th in regards to word count. This epilogue became a certified saga very quickly.

And I hope you like it! I do. I loved writing it, I love reading it, I love the characters in it.

Fun fact! I actually wrote this saga BEFORE I wrote Dec 24th and the characters that showed up in this story were just so fun to write I had to put them into Dec 24th.
