Okay. So last introduction, when providing the context for "George In Retirement", (which you just read), I talked about a project I had to take a break from. During this break, I wrote George In Retirement.

Well, what you're about to read is that project!

Fair warning, before we dive into this next iteration of George, yes, I am traveling backwards in my own timeline and no, this project is not complete. Not even close.

There are huge gaps of time and plot between chapters and I am going to do my best to provide you with all the context you need to read each chapter as those gaps appear.

The reason I'm publishing this unfinished work is because it's super interesting to me, as a reader and a writer, to see all the iterations and plots and formats a character can go through before finally finding their true form.

What this iteration of George was supposed to be was essentially a fictional biography.

I was going to have Mia Roberts (a character of mine from I'll See You Soon, who is a music journalist) interview George long after her career as George Briggs had ended in order to bring to the light the true identity of who George Briggs really was and how this young woman in the industry had changed everything.

There were going to be segments of interviews bookending every segment. It wasn't going to be chronological. Instead it was going to flow like a long conversation between two friends who have known each other for a really long time.

What you are about to read are all of the scenes in chronological order. At least the ones that I managed to write.

They are scenes from George's career, some of them might be familiar, some of them are events only ever referenced to in Dec 24th. However, I do feel as though they round out the story of George and provide more context than what I could fit into Dec 24th.

I hope you enjoy!

As this is an incomplete work, and while I will do my best to patch any holes, if you are ever confused and if you have any questions whatsoever, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be answering all comments.
