As not mentioned, Tajima and Butsuma already got informed of the information.
They agreed, the deal was sealed, that was it. No going back. This was all for a unity, and for the very next generations to surpass the previous generations.
The question was, why now if they could've done the unity long ago before the village was created? It was so that the now-allied clans would actually get along with no objections, whatsoever. Just for the sake for their clans to prosper and get stronger.
At the wedding day. Izuna was not-so very happy, likely nervous, who wouldn't be? He was going to be married to his very adversary, whom which he still is not on good terms with, not a truce made between them, not even once silently, despite neither of them holding a grudge against each other (rather they both hold a grudge against the other's clan). Just that neither of them had time for the other to make things right, busy with this and that, living. Anywho, the bride, aka Izuna Uchiha in what we call 'bridal shower', a pre-wedding celebration for the bride-to-be where guests bring gifts, food, whatever, and so on.
Tobirama, however was in a hotel with windows illuminating the mesmerizing light received from the sun, getting ready and all also. He had no objections, as the marriage was merely to celebrate the union of the Uchiha and Senju, meaning a new generation, a stronger one rather as aforementioned. He was ready, ready to get things done and handled with.
Can't forget about the two all-grown up kids' brothers, of course!
It's quite saddening for Madara to just give away his brother like that, and he knew how Izuna felt, though he made sure to give Izuna positive wordings, even giving the little guy a gentle pat on the head, knowing his otouto liked those, all of the things Madara did made Izuna at least smile, despite this day being the day..With Hashirama on the contrary, he's happy, that silly tree man always is. As enthusiastic as he is, he made Tobirama laugh for even the least of bits, really. Can't go without a little fun, huh?
At the main Wedding.
The groom; Tobirama stood at the main altar, waiting for his soon-to-be bride; Izuna. The albino already knew he's going to be quite surprised by how Izuna will look like, and yet..
As soon as Izuna ever so elegantly walked the aisle, everyone was shocked, each and every face of the guests, the man looked quite the sight in a white, majestic dress. It had little details around it to make it look fancier, especially the headpiece he wore was surely unique, didn't have too much fancy-schmancy lil' details, it directly matched Izuna's dress.Tobirama snapped out of his trance-like state as soon as Izuna stepped to the altar with him, a little bit of help from Tobirama though, the dress was quite.. long, to say.
The priest then started speaking;"Beloved Uchiha Izuna and Senju Tobirama, Today, under the watchful eyes of the kami, we gather to celebrate the union of your hearts and spirits. The sacred bonds of matrimony are woven with threads of love, respect, and commitment. As you stand before the divine, let the purity of your intentions shine forth. In the presence of these kami, who bless all of creation, let your union be a reflection of the beauty and harmony found in the natural world. Like the seasons that change and renew, may your love be everlasting, growing and evolving with each passing day. Before we proceed to the exchange of vows, take a moment to appreciate the blessings that surround you. The kami witness your union, and their divine energy infuses this ceremony. As you pledge your love to one another, remember the sacredness of this commitment. Now, Uchiha Izuna and Senju Tobirama, the time has come for you to share your vows. Speak from the depths of your hearts, for these words carry the power to shape your future together. May the kami guide you as you embark on this journey of marriage, and may your love be a source of strength and joy. May the kami bless and protect your union, today and always." With that, the priest took a step back for the two to recite their vows.
Tobirama cleared his throat. "As we stand before the kami and our loved ones, I pledge my love and devotion to you. Today, I become your husband, your protector, and your partner in all aspects of life. I promise to cherish and protect you, to be a source of strength and comfort in times of need. In sickness and in health, I will stand by your side, offering care and support. I vow to create a home filled with love, laughter, and understanding. Through the highs and lows of life, I will be your steadfast companion, sharing both the joys and challenges that come our way. May our love be a sanctuary, a refuge in times of storm. With this ring, I seal my commitment to you and promise to honor and uphold our marriage vows." He carefully took one of the custom golden-silver rings from the pillow and slid in on Izuna's ring finger before lowering their hands.
The words with no meaning between the two of them was taunting.
Now, it was Izuna's turn. "I promise to be your partner in every sense of the word. In moments of joy, I will celebrate with you, and in times of challenge, I will stand by your side, facing the storm together. Through the highs and lows of life, I vow to be a source of strength and support. In sickness and in health, I will care for you with unwavering dedication and tenderness. I promise to respect your individuality and honor the person you are today and the one you'll become tomorrow. I pledge to create a home where our love can thrive, filled with laughter, understanding, and a deep connection that withstands the test of time. May our journey be marked by shared dreams, mutual growth, and a love that deepens with each passing day. I look forward to exploring the mysteries of life with you, hand in hand, and building a future together that is uniquely ours. Today and always, I choose you. With this ring, I offer you not just a symbol of my commitment, but a circle of unending love. May it remind us that our love is infinite, like the continuous and boundless flow of time. As I place this ring on your finger, I promise to love you without end, to stand beside you through every chapter of our lives, and to treasure the ever-growing circle of our shared moments." He lifted Tobirama's hand and slid the golden ring on his finger. Both of the golden rings gleamed in the sunlight, the platinum/silver on their rings shining. All of those words carried no weight; no meaning.
"Now that your vows has been exchanged, do you Senju Tobirama take Uchiha Izuna to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?" Tobirama slightly squeezed Izuna's hand, holding back a sigh. "I do." The priest then nodded, turning to Izuna, "In the presence of these witnesses and the divine, do you Uchiha Izuna freely and willingly take Senju Tobirama to be your lawfully wedded husband, promising to love, honor, and cherish him, to be by his side in joy and sorrow, in laughter and tears, in hardship and ease, for all the days of your life?" Izuna nearly choked, thankfully it's just a thought. "I do."
"Senju Tobirama and Uchiha Izuna, having declared your love and commitment to each other before [the divine/your chosen spiritual presence] and in the presence of your witnesses, you may now celebrate this union with a kiss. As you seal your vows with this symbol of love, may it represent the beginning of a lifetime filled with joy, understanding, and shared moments."
Enjoyed the ride?
