Merida POV
All of my friends were happy to see me with a guy. I don't usually go out and socialize with people. But, Hiccup is different. He actually listens to what I have to say. Soon, Astrid comes back.

"Where did you go?" I ask. She gives me a nervous look. "Your dad wants to talk to you." She said. "Ok.." I say. "I'll go with you" Hiccup says. Astrid blocks his way. "Umm, he only wants to talk to his daughter." She says sternly. Hiccup backs away and nods. I go to my house.

"Dad?" I say. "Merida, there is something I need to discuss with you." He says. "Ok." I say. He takes a breathe. "You can't go out with that boy." Dad says. "What?!" I yell. "He is not what he seems!" He says. "What are you talking about!?" I scream. "He is one of THEM!! THOSE HORRIBLE MONSTERS!!" He screams. "HE IS NOT A MONSTER. OK I LOVE HIM!!!" I scream back.

"I can't believe those monsters got to you." He mumbles. "Dad, please, don't hurt him. His castle is the best and so is his family." I say. He looks at me. "You've been to his castle?" He asks. "Did I say castle?" I say nervous. "We're attacking tomorrow and I'm bringing that boy with us!" He says.

"NO! Dad, PLEASE, DON'T DO THIS!" I say. Why isn't he listening. "Dad. DAD!" I yell as I grab his arm. Then, he throws me to the ground. "You fought your lot in with them." He says,"You're not a Viking. You're not my daughter." he says. Then, he walks out the door.

I just sit there and cry. Then, I here a scream. Hiccup!

Hiccup POV
I haven't seen Mer in a while. I sit on a log and stare at the floor until Astrid comes. "What's wrong?" She asks. "I'm worried about Merida." I say. "Why?" She asks confused. I look at her funny.

"What do you mean "Why" I'm worried." I say. She gives me a look. "You really care for her?" She says. I nod. "What have I done?!" She says as she stands up. "What, What happened?!" I ask. She pushes me. "You have to leave before they get you!" She says.

"What are you talking about?" I say. "Ok, I told Merida's father about you being the prince and that your our arch enemy and stuff and that she didn't know about it and now, he's going to take you away. Your clan and our tribe are at war now." She says.

"You IDIOT!!" I scream. I run to Mer's house and see her father come out. Oh, no. I turn around, but he grabs me by my collar. "Your coming with me." He says. "NOO!!" I scream. Then, I see Mer come out. She has tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry.." I see her mouth.

No, what did her father say about me? I got chained up in the front of the boat. "Show us the way, you devil." He says. I look up and see Merida looking at me. A sad look in her eye. I give her a smile to show her everything is alright. She doesn't give a smile back. Only tears and then she runs away. Oh, Merida.
