Merida POV
Hiccup points to the dragon. I see where he is going with this. "Wait, you want to ride the dragon?" I say. He nods. "How are you going to do that?" I say. he shrugs and says, "aren't you the professional here?" He said.
"What do you mean?" I ask. "Well, you do deal with dragons right?" He asks. I nod. "Then, you should be able to train a dragon." he says. He does have a point. It's going to take a lot of practice though. "okay let's do it! I yell.
We walk over to the dragon. I named him toothless. Why? Because I gave him a fish and at first he didn't have teeth then they came right out. It was weird. As we approach him, I feel more nervous. What if he jumps on us?
Toothless gets up and walks to us. Carefully. "Go do your thing." Hiccup said. "Okay." I say. I put my arm up and put it by its nose. He doesn't seem to trust me at first. I put it closer and he growls at me. I look away and put my hand out for him to touch.
When I do that, he puts his nose in my hand. I hear a gasp from Hiccup. I look and there's toothless. His nose in my hand. Holy crap.. I trained a dragon.
Hiccup POV
When toothless put his nose in Mer's hand I gasped. That was the coolest thing ever. When she looked toothless did too. He just put a mad face a flew away.
I went over to Merida. "That was amazing!" I screamed. She smiled and blushed. Aww, she looks cute blushing. What?! Stop. Hiccup. Stop. "Thank you." She said.
We went over to the lake to get washed up. As soon as I put my hands in there I felt like I just got pushed. Cause I did. Merida pushed me into the water. She laughed super hard. "I'm s-sorry h-hiccup! She said laughing.
I held my hand up so she can help me. But instead I pulled her in with me. Now it was my turn to laugh! "Hahaha, now your soaking wet!" I said. She looked at me and smirked. After a few minutes we play ones in the water. Then, we came out.
I found a stick and started to draw Merida. She was getting her cloak. When she came over, she bent over and smiled. I smiled back. She sat next to me and kind of fell asleep. She looks cute when she sleeps. Alright I have to admit this. I like Merida.
