Chapter 2

My eyes shot open along with a weird feeling, I was surrounded by some type of water ad multiple tubes were stuck to me. I tried taking them off but couldn't move, not even the slightest bit, I was in a different room in a different type of tank, the boss was sitting in a chir in the corner of the room looking at me

"so you finally woke up"

he stood up and walked to the tank

"you probably noticed you can't move, that's because the tubes on you are restraining your life force, in other words if you try something weird yo will die"

he grinned

"y'know it's really disrespectful to fall asleep for 8 hours straight in the middle of the day, we might need to punish you".

I froze. Punish me?

the boss headed to a control panel who probably controlled my tank, he clicked a button and turned a tiny wheel, then suddenly my body started tingling, the tingling gradually became more painful as he turned the tiny wheel. My body burned, this was worse then getting electrocuted, it felt like my insides were about to explode.

I struggled and tried to move and break free and that's when I noticed I could slightly move my foot, I wiggled it around hoping to get the rest of my body to move but that only made boss angrier, he suddenly pulled out a jar with green liquid inside he opened it while saying "I told you not to try anything weird" he smirked and walked closer to the tank I was in, he was about to pour it in when a scientist rushed in

"sir it's an emergency, we are being attacked, we have to hide the evidence."

The boss placed the jar he was holding on the table,

I was saved.

I was relived this place was being attacked, maybe the people would be able to help me,

what a ridiculous idea.

The boss hurried out to try take a look at the situation, a few seconds later he came back running in he said something to the doctor who called him and ran towards the tank, he started disassembling some things at the bottom and in the meantime I was able to get both my legs moving without him noticing, I managed to tilt my head forwards to look at them, patches of scales were appearing and disappearing, not only on my legs but on my whole body.

I couldn't feel it since my whole body was still numb but that was ok, I was just worried about what the boss was about to do.

He rose up and pressed a big button, a mechanical creature, no, a robot started moving behind me, he grabbed my tank and held it in his technological hands, there were noises outside, the boss looked troubled.

The bot carried me outside and 'ran' into the opposite direction of the sound,

without warning a group of people in clothes that I had never seen before leaped in front of us,
they certainly weren't doctors,
the bot had put me on his back and my tank was hooked on like a backpack, i tried looking behind me but the robot's back blocked the view.

I heard the sound of a small explosion and then 'clinks' and 'clanks' and then I heard a smash sound, the bot fell to the floor,

the people in the non-doctor clothes walked to the back of the bot where I could see them, they looked at me carefully, then one of the guys pulled out a pointy shiny thing and smashed it in the glass of the tank, the liquid inside slowly spilled out and the tubes attached to me fell off as well, i was dizzy and fell to the floor.

I looked at the concrete beneath me and then looked up, the guy that smashed my tank was still holding the pointy shiny thing, I thought he was going to stab it in my so I closed my eyes and looked back down, I was ready for impact when instead I felt a warm hand on my sore back.
