Chapter 7: Seeing Them Again

Kiona's POV

I dismount off Seth and bring out my sword. Once I do so, I can beat them again. I'm sure they wanted to come back for revenge. I look down at my scars where Ken scratched me.

But I also know, that one of them wants me. Me to love them again. I know y'all are super confused and are asking me since when did I start loving? Well, remember what I was telling Y/n?

Here's the real story...I couldn't tell Y/n about what really happened. I just had to lie. The reason why I didn't want Y/n to know what really happened, is because if she found out that I was taken advantage of, then she'd do everything she could to try and end it.

~Flashback~

(A few years previous...) - No POV

Kiona and the Storm Brothers were doing practice matches with each other including Kiona.

"Hey Kiona! Can you and I talk alone for a little bit. Ken (soon-to-be "Stormforce") grabbed Kiona by the arm and dragged her to a more private place to talk. His brother, Tetsuya moved further away from the two.

Ken released Kiona's arm and sighed heavily.

"Ken? What's going on? Whatever you're about to do, please stop."

"Kiona...ever since we were little children...I've fallen in love...in love with you...Kiona Crimson...will you marry me?"

She was taken aback and was entirely speechless. "Ken...I-I don't know what to say."

"Please Kiona, say something..."

"I-I can't....I need to think about this."

"You have until sundown tomorrow...I expect an answer by then." She nods slightly. She walks away still shocked.

"What am I going to say to him?" She mumbled.

Kiona's POV

Ken did not just propose to me. He couldn't have. I'm delusional. It's not real. Kiona, it's not real. It's okay. Your brain totally just messed with you.

I spot Seth sleeping by my bed side. I kneel down with tears in my eyes.

"Seth...what should I do? Should I accept or refuse?"

"Kiona? You in here?" I look over and Tetsuya was standing there. "Tetsuya...it's you."

"Yes, now...what's making you act like this? Talking to Ansu."

"Well, K-Ken just....asked me...to...to..."

"Marry him?" Tetsuya was one to know things pretty quickly. "I figured. He's been asking me that all the time. He's asked me to give him a time for him to pop the question. So...it's no surprise to me honestly."

"I see..."

"What do you think I should I do, Tetsuya?" He kneels in front of me and places a piece of my hair behind my ear. "He expects an answer by sundown tomorrow..." I reply.

"The choice is up to you...but in my opinion, you don't have to marry him unless you feel the same way he does."

I look at Tetsuya and then thought about what he said. "I don't feel the same way. Because it's not him that I love...it's you, Tetsuya." He froze.
