God here she finally was, my dream girl, back with me again.
The beautiful girl id been fantasising of all my life, wondering how she was every hour of every day since i last saw her.
Ive never had feelings stronger for anyone before, shes constantly on my mind, its turned me into someone i didnt think id ever be.
Learning her lesson plans, befriending friends of her own to find out what shes into, what music shes into, what her hobbies are, where she lives.
Luckily enough, she lives on my street so following her home doesnt look as creepy as it sounds.
I promise im a normal guy, but no girl like her would love such a loser like me.
At least... thats what i thought, until recently her friend allie got with my best mate, eddie munson, and joined our band and D&D club.
She may just be a poser, but i highly doubt shed be willing to lose her whole reputation to join a club of freaks and losers.
Plus she seems pretty nice and eddies really into her, shell be worth getting to know i guess.
Especially if it will get me closer to her.
Maybe she could get me a pencil of hers so i have a reason to go up and return it.

I snap back to reality through the warm embrace of my friend ellie, who looks shell shocked when i pull away, shaking her shoulders slightly to bring her back to life.

Holy shit that was a long hug, what was he thinking about?
No one hugs for that long without love in the air right?
Am i crazy?
"Ell? Ellie gorgeous come back to reality sweetheart!" He chuckled causing me to get dizzy as i stared, unresponsive, into his beautiful eyes.
"Ells, you okay?" He checks looking at me with genuine concern.
"YES." I blurt out panicking and he backs up raising his brows at me.
"Yes, yeah im fine gare thanks, yeah thank you.... thanks." I trail off and he laughs grabbing my arm.
"Come on lets get you back to aaliyah and... Lilly is it?" He says sounding almost fake at the last part.
"Libby!" I laugh, "You dont even know my friends when weve known each other this long? Do i really need to introduce you that bad?"
"Yeah. Well i mean, introducing me couldnt hurt?" He smiled running his free arm through his chestnut curls.
"Sure." I chuckled thinking what could make him so nervous.
As we approached the group all eyes turned expectedly towards us.
"Moo moo!" Aaliyah yelled sprinting at me and pulling me into a tight hug.
"Hey loversss~" libby joked looking down to our interlocked arms and smirking.
"Oh haha," gareth panicked shaking his arm off mine to my dissapointment, "we're friends, JUST friends. Promise, no romance here. Not that im not interested in dating just not- im straight. And im single- and - and, um im gareth its nice to meet you libby." He held out an outstreched arm to her while i looked in sheer desolation to the floor.
"Oh um oh yeah- Im not a stalker - i swear um, your friend- our friend um, ....."
"Ellie?" Libby interjected sensing his temporary memory loss.
"YES, Ellie, um she told me. Id really like to get to know you so, well if your up for it give me a call." He shakily smiled.
Everyone stood blank staring at him.
"Well, can i have your number?" She asked.
"of course!" He yelled his voice cracking a little as he grabbed a pen and began to scribble down a number on a scrap of paper he pulled from his pocket before handing it to her.
"Sorry, first day if school always has me stressed out, did i memtion im gareth?"
"Yes you did," she giggled,"dont worry, i think its cute." She smiled.
Was this girl for real?
She knew how much i was in love with him right?
Did i miss the part where i didnt talk about him every second or something?
i stood with my mouth agape continuing to watch their interaction.
"Ill call you after school yeah?" She smiled litterally twirling her hair as if shes in some wattpad fanfiction or some shit.
The nerve of this girl. My god.
I grabbed aaliyahs arm tugging her away from her new druggie and to our first lesson, leaving libby alone to flirt with the love of my life.
"Ellieee, i was so close to getting him to kiss mee babes!" She whined
"Oh im sure youll be with kaid again soon enough," i huffed angrily, "sorry, i dont mean that."
"You aint wrong." She shrugged catching up to my stompy paces.
"You good?" She asked.
"I will be." I sighed waving her off as i entered my classroom.

*Cut to the lunch*
I march over to our table ready to have it out with my closest friend.
"Libby?" I yell slightly arms folded at the end of the table, "a word?" I gritt through my teeth.
She stands gracefully from her seat and i drag her by her tote bag to behind food to go.
"What the fuck was that about this morning?!" I whisper yell.
"What? Gareth? He was coming onto me babes." She calmly replied.
"You were totally flirting back!"
"So? You've said it yourself! I've given you so many chances to explain yourself, you don't like him.
But me, well i think hes even cuter than last year. And im not gonna let your definate friendship get in the way of my crushes. Unless your willing to fight for him, that boy is mine. Though, i think he made it very clear hes not so interested in you babe, but good lucksies!" She tilted her head smiling smugly and waving before walking back to our table.
I cannot believe her!
