I hear the front door open then close and not soon after I hear the bedroom door open and then close, I look up from my phone and I see Billie come towards me. She sits in my lap and starts to break down in my arms
"What happened?" I ask with worry in my voice, thinking someone hurt her on her way home
"Just overwhelmed" she says between sobs
"It's ok Billie, I'm right here, your in my arms you don't need to worry about anything anymore" i tell her as I held her in my arms rocking us slowly side to side as she cried
"You're gonna be ok mi amour" I say her kissing her head
"I'm gonna be ok" Billie says under a whisper, I smile a little at her sentence
"That's it baby, we're gonna be ok. As long as I'm here no one can hurt you" (I had to I'm sorry)
"I love you"
"I love you too pretty girl"
