I was found alone

In my own forest

Quietly listening to the batting wings of the death birds

That were patiently waiting

Their starved eyes look at me form above

"One of us has to give up"

I was found alone

On my own forest

Where the fog would keep my wounds fresh

And my hands cold

The tall oak trees would erase the sky

So I could keep myself hidden

From the shadows of the past

I could never really scape

"This too, is not for you" the wind claims

When I turn my back on the dark density

I always hear those mocking words

"Alone again, my love?"

And I bitterly smile

This is the only way I know
