I haven't quite introduced myself yet.
I'm Serena, and I've basically lived my whole life on the West Coast. I grew up in San Diego throughout my childhood and teenage years, but I moved up north to attend college at UCI. (As well as getting away from my overprotective parents.) I majored in business marketing and got my B.A. in business.
After getting my degree, I worked in social media marketing and became a manager for marketing brands and such. But recently, I've wanted to become a sports media marketing manager. So, I have been looking for jobs to apply to.
I decided to stay in Orange County just cause but I have moved to a different location recently.
I have a kitty. His name is Milo because he looks like a milo. He's a Burmese cat. He has a champagne coat with golden eyes.
I got him when I got my own apartment after college. He's five years old.
And if you're wondering. Yes, I do live alone. Rent is about $3,700 for two bed, one bath...
But anyways...
- PRESENT-
On my way home. All I thought about was how I casually saw and met Shohei Ohtani at a sushi restaurant out of the blue.
LIKE I CAN'T BELIEVE IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME.
It took about 45 minutes to get home and it's already almost 4 PM.

Once I entered my apartment, I was met with a purring Milo.
I took off my shoes and headed toward my room to get a change of clothes after my shower.
I decided to wear a long sleeve and some baggy sweatpants since I would be lounging in the apartment for a while.
I turned the shower on and waited for it to be warm, and hopped in. After washing off, I got dressed, slipped on my slippers, and put some hair products in for my wavy hair.
I finally got done and I let my hair air dry, and I checked the time to see that it was almost 5:30 PM. So I decided to relax in the living room with Milo right next to me and set an alarm for 6 PM because I would always go on my evening walks to ease my mind and relax.
"Milo I met the most charming human ever today," I said while petting Milo. He answered back with a purr.
He's literally my sweetest boy.
I went through my phone and went on Instagram just to see what people were doing. I don't really have anyone currently, and life has been a little lonely.
I haven't really talked to my old friends back home in a while. We would hang out 3 times a year, but over time, they all stopped responding. There's nothing I can do about it, but that's okay because I'm just an hour and a half away.
As for my friends from college, they all moved back to their state, but we talked to each other occasionally just to update each other on life.
I'm scrolling through my Instagram explore page, I see an edit of Shohei which reminded me of him. I hope I get to see him again one day even though he probably won't remember me from the casual sushi encounter.
- Alarm goes off -
I get up and stretched for a little before grabbing a hoodie to put on. I grab my keys and swap my slippers out for my Crocs.
My walks usually last 30 minutes, and I get home right as the sun sets.
Yes. I usually walk by myself, and I DO HAVE A WEAPON.
it's my pepper spray...
I mean, it's probably not a weapon, but it's something. I think...
Since I'm new to the area, I find new pathways to go to on my walk around the neighborhood since it's nice and quiet. Not too loud and not too quiet.
I decided to walk through this park that's near my place. I decided to sit on one of the benches and admire the beautiful sky as it changed colors. California sunsets are something different.
As I sat I saw kids playing on the playground as their parents watched.
I closed my eyes and sat there as I take in nature. Feeling the breeze. Listening to the birds and nature. Listening to my surroun-
"Do you mind if I sit here?" I heard a voice chuckle.

Helllllloooooo <333 Dude I been seeing edits on him on instagram and it had me geeking over himmmmm. Like oh my goooodnesssss. How that man so damn fineeeee ughhh.
