9-The Blazing Trees

The three walked along a path they found in the forest, Ivywing felt worried, 'Roughstar or Fishstar may come back to kill them or injure them badly' Ivywing thought in her head, her tail slowly went near the ground as her tail swiped the dust and rocks near it lightly.

"Ivywing, may I speak to you?" Patches asked as he trotted to her side, Ivywing nodded, waiting for Patches to speak.

"You've been different after we met, like more quiet and worry about something, are you alright?" Patches asked with a worried tone in his voice as he spoke.

Ivywing sighed, "I'm just stressed a bit, that's all" Ivywing meowed.

"Hey, do you guys smell that?" Windstorm meowed with his tail tip flickering, Ivywing looked away from Patches and lifted her chin to drink the air, a smoky smell clouded her nose as she smelled.

"Smoke.." Ivywing mumbled "are we in Fireclan territory?"

"You have to know Ivywing, you're a part of one of the four main clans!" Windstorm meowed in disbelief, Ivywing rolled her eyes before sniffing the air once more.

"Well, the bad news is that it is not Fireclan," Ivywing meowed, walking past Windstorm, following the smell of the smoke.

Ivywing started to think as Windstorm and Patches followed her from behind, "let the flames rise to the top of the stars.." Ivywing mumbled to herself.

A crashing sound echoed from behind them, close to hitting Patches before he jumped in front in fear, "you good?" Ivywing asked as she looked back at the two toms with their tails fluffed up from the tree crashing.

"Yeah" Patches meowed, his voice was wobbling.

"Wait, this tree bark is burnt to a crisp" Windstorm pointed out, making Patches and Ivywing's eyes shift to sight the burnt bark, "If is burnt then, the smoke we smelled was-" Ivywing was shut by another tree crashing, but the tree had a small flame on a branch and started to spread onto another multiple trees, causing a starting of a forest fire.

"Oh for Moonclan's sakes!" Ivywing hissed, Patches started to breathe heavily as Windstorm looked around in worry.

"Come on, it's spreading fast!" Ivywing hissed, pushing the two toms to run from the fire.

An yowled came from Patches in a panic as Ivywing pushed him away from the fire as Windstorm started to dash without Ivywing pushing him, "Patches start dashing, we both don't want to die!" Ivywing snapped, snapping her jaws near Patches' back, "ok ok!" Patches hissed before dashing, making Ivywing dash after him.

"Ivywing stay back" Patches meowed, "why?" Ivywing asked.

Hissing echoed but the burning fire was louder.

"I think Roughstar has stopped us again," Patches mumbled, "and caused this," Patches added, Ivywing can tell Patches' breath was heavy and spooked.

"Why is Roughstar on our tails?" Patches asked himself out loud before looking away from Ivywing's gaze to the path that leads where Windstorm would be.

"Because he's trying to take back Lightclan to lead it again, and he thinks I will be on his side, but he's a selfish murder!" Ivywing hissed softly, responding to Patches' question, making her tail lead Patches to Windstorm quickly.

As Ivywing and Patches got closer to where Windstorm was, the hissing got louder and the fire spread fast behind them, jumping over logs and burnt branches that fell from the burning trees around them.

Ivywing jumped over a fallen tree, seeing Windstorm breathing hard on the forest floor on his belly, Ivywing narrowed her eyes and raced over to Windstorm.

"Windstorm, are you alright?!" Ivywing hissed, crouching down to Windstorm's side, "my leg got burned from the fire, I was in a panic!"

Windstorm responded quickly before looking at Ivywing with a fearful look, "I'm warning you now, he's back" he whispered to Ivywing.

Ivywing worried, she standed up and looked around, where's Patches?

A loud thump sounded near the tom and the she-cat, Ivywing turned to Roughstar pinned down by Unknown, "Ivywing, We need to go!" Patches rushed from the side, behind Unknown, Ivywing nodded before helping Windstorm up.

Patches rushed to the other side of Windstorm, both of them speedwalked with Windstorm in the middle, But what about Unknown she was dead but fighting Roughstar for them?! They own her.

"Let's get across the river, this smoke is getting to me" Ivywing meowed loudly turning to Patches, making sure Patches can hear her.

Patches nodded before Ivywing turned back in front of her.
