19: Adoption

Joey POV

We pull up to the adoption Center and get out of the car, I look at Daniel and smile. The building in front of us was simple. It was a brick building with a few windows and a gate. I grab Daniels hand and we walk inside of the center.

The lady behind the desk look up then a huge smile played on her face.

"Well what can I do you for you two?" She asks. Daniel speaks up first.

"My husband and I are looking to adopt." he says in his sweet voice. The lady nods and motions us to follow her. All three of us walk along the hallway to the adoption office. I grab Daniels hand as we sit down in front of the desk.

"So around what age group are you looking to adopt and what gender?" The lady, Crystal, asks.

"A boy." Daniel and I said in unison. She smiled and nodded.

"And the age group?" She asked.

"Early teenager?" We ask. She smiles widely.

"I know just the one." she said. She got up and disappeared out of the room. I turn to Daniel.

"I'm so happy to have a family with you Danny." I tell him, pecking his lips. He smiles at me. Crystal reappears with boy around 16 beside her. He looks up at me and his face lit up.

"OMG I DIDNT KNOW THAT THEY WERE ADOPTING ME!" He starts fangirling and I giggle as Daniel hides behind me.

"Hi I'm Garret." he says. I smile and look at him. He's got that stereotypical jock vibe and look to him, perfect.

Daniel and I sign the adoption papers and the birth certificate and then we leave. Daniel and I share a quick kiss (Garret fan girls in the back) and we head off home, as a family.
