Getting to know each other

Sara cheered after the emotional moment with Alya and Lila. "That's so sweet, that almost made me shed a tear." Sara faked wiping a tear from her eye, Mika rolled her eye and slapped Sara on the back of her calf. "OW! You didn't have to hit me!" Sara scolded Mika.

"But I did." Mika snapped, Sara was about to insult her, but Akane put her hand on her shoulder warning her to stop. "How about you guys go eat, I'm sure you guys are starving." Akane offered, everyone in the audience nodded and got up from their seats. "Man, I'm famished!" Alix yelled while running out of the auditorium. Nathaniel giggled and quickly followed her, Marinette, Alya and Lila were all trailing behind the group. Alya was still soothing Lila while Marinette was just there monitoring Lila's actions.

"Thank you for supporting me Alya, I'm alright." Lila spoke, even though she had vowed to herself not to tell Alya in front of Marinette how much she valued her company. "No chance girl, you need someone, and I'll be that someone!" Alya answered Lila's statement. Marinette just sneered and continued walking while Lila softly smiled at Alya's kindness. "Are you positive?" Lila looked at Alya, worried that she was doing this out of sympathy.

"I want to be your friend, a genuine friend. Because you lack one, okay?" Alya rubbed Lila's shoulder as a sign to show her that she was being sincere. Lila nodded her head, but there was still a doubtful feeling that Alya was lying.

Marinette snarled to herself, this whole situation was awful, Lila getting sympathy from everyone and no one caring about her. Only Alya consoled her about her Adrien dating Luka in the future. Not a single soul. "Hey, they must have split up later on and then me and Adrien got together and got married!" Marinette attempted to persuade herself, and it worked. An hour before she looked like she had just received the news that her parents had passed away, to hopping through the hallway in a cheerful mood.

Rose saw Marinette's mood change and raised her brow in curiosity. "What's the matter with her?" She turned to Juleka who was engrossed in her phone. Juleka looked up at what Rose was pointing at and simply shrugged and went back to her phone.

They all reached the food court, and they were all amazed. The endless rows of various kinds of foods and the place looked enormous. "Holy shit!" Nino stood there stunned, "How much did this cost!?"

Mika smirked and said, "You act like we're not gods." Nino shrieked and jumped when he saw Mika standing next to him. "Geez! Quit popping up out of nowhere, you're going to kill someone someday!" Nino exclaimed. Mika snickered and walked away, ignoring Nino's complaint. Nino pouted and then heard someone laughing loudly behind him. He recognized that laughter and spun around to see the culprit. "It wasn't that hilarious, you know!" Nino shouted.

"Oh, but it was, dude." Adrien's laughter got louder, making Nino fake a frown. He secretly smiled, enjoying these moments with his best friend. "How could you do this to me, I'm your best buddy, dude!" Nino shook Adrien's shoulders. That only made Adrien laugh harder, "You're such a drama queen, man! Let me go." Adrien gently shoved Nino off him. "You're causing a commotion, you nutcase." Adrien giggled softly. 

Nino pretended to gasp, clutching his chest like a surprised Disney actor. "My heart, it's broken..." Nino started to pretend to cry only making Adrien roar in laughter. "Let's go grab some food, I smell pizza." "How the hell do you smell pizza?" Adrien trailed his best friend, chuckling a bit more at Nino's remark. Nino only shrugged and continued walk.

Nino and Adrien got their food and scanned the food court for a spot to sit. Adrien nudged Nino's arm and pointed to a table where Alya, Marinette and Lila were sitting. Nino beamed and ran over to the table with Adrien tailing closely behind him. Nino greeted Alya with a loud "Yo Babe!" as he approached the table where she and Marinette were sitting. The two girls looked up and saw him, followed by Adrien. Alya returned his smile, while Marinette felt her cheeks heat up at the sight of Adrien.
