Chapter 20

"I'm home," Jungkook said and locked the door behind him, he didn't see Jin welcoming him as usual, but he heard crying from inside the room and rushed to meet Jin there.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Jungkook said, he approached Jin and knelt in front of Jin who was sitting on the edge of the bed while bowing his head.

Jin didn't answer Jungkook's question, he just immediately hugged Jungkook in front of him and poured his sadness on the shoulder he was leaning on.

"Jin, are you okay?" Jungkook said he rubbed Jin's back.

Jin still didn't answer the question, but Jungkook knew something was up, his heart felt something hurt but he didn't know what was going on.

Jungkook tried to let go of Jin's embrace, but Jin held him there, he hugged Jungkook tightly as if he didn't want Jungkook to see his sad face.

"Jin—"

"I just want to be like this, please," Jin said.

"Okay," Jungkook hugged him back and continued to stroke Jin's back to calm him down.

"Where are you from? How come you just got home?" Jin said.

"I finished dinner with Hoseok," Hearing that, Jin immediately pushed Jungkook's body away from him.

"Jin, what happened to you?" Jungkook said.

"Why did you have dinner with him? Why are you going with him?" Jin said, his face looked angry and it made Jungkook feel guilty.

He knew Jin forbade him to get too close to Hoseok and maybe what he did back then could have taken him in a worse direction but if he wanted to dig deeper, he had to go deeper too.

"Jin—"

"No! Do not touch me! Nobody cares about me! Everything will only end with Hoseok!" Jin said and he disappeared from there, making Jungkook surprised because he didn't expect Jin to be that angry.

He didn't know where Jin went at that time, Jungkook knew something wasn't right but how would he find out about it if Jin didn't talk to him and just disappeared?

Jungkook intends to meet Namjoon at his house, maybe there's something Namjoon can help with because, to be honest, Jungkook's intention in coming to Seoul is not to find the truth of all the ghost problems he's encountered. He just wanted to work and bring his mother as soon as possible.

"What happened? Why did you come here?" Namjoon said.

"I need your help Namjoon, I know we don't know each other to be able to help each other but I don't know who else to ask for help besides you," Jungkook said.

"Is this about Jin?" Namjoon said.

"It's more complicated than you might think, but it has something to do with Jin," Jungkook said.

"What's that?" Namjoon said.

"Jin met someone who killed him this morning at my office, strangely, that person seemed to be able to see and touch Jin, he knocked Jin down and scared Jin, I don't know why only Jin can touch humans," Jungkook said.

"Wait, Jin can't touch anyone other than you but the person who killed him can touch Jin?" Namjoon said.

"Yeah, something like that, and I don't know what happened after but when I came home, he was crying in his room and he looked really angry when he found out I went out with someone he knew was the cause of his death," Jungkook said.

"Can you explain to me what happened to Jin?" Namjoon said.

"I don't know the details but he just said that he was cruelly killed by his fiancé in the apartment where I live when he found out about their affair, Jin didn't want to know about that he just wanted to go home, but when he looked for his parents to his house, he just found someone else there, another indigo who is now asking for my help too because he is in a coma," Jungkook said.

"Oh shit, why is it this complicated? So what can I help you with?" Namjoon said.

"Namjoon, first I want to tell you if I kissed him," Jungkook said.

"Who? Who did you kiss?" Namjoon said.

"Jin," Jungkook said.

"What? You kissed a ghost?" Namjoon said.

"I don't know, you can believe me or not it's up to you but I fell in love with him, when I saw him the first time he managed to make me flutter and he felt the same way, he felt confused because he knew he was a ghost and couldn't possibly feel anything but he feels something when he's with me and it happens," Jungkook said.

"As I said, I think your meeting was fate, but unfortunately time is not on your side, you meet him when he is dead maybe if you come sooner, you can live together and no one will hurt him," Namjoon said.

"Is it because of the feelings he has for me that's why he can touch me like a human?" Jungkook said.

"I don't know but if that's the reason, then why can the person who killed Jin touch him too?" Namjoon said.

"Wait, Jin said he didn't hate that person, he died when he still loved that man, but afterward he didn't feel anything including hatred for that man, is that why that bastard could touch Jin?" Jungkook said.

"The after-feeling that he carried with him to death, it's so deep," Namjoon said.

"But, after I touch him, I can feel what he feels, it's like I have two hearts each beating because of him," Jungkook said.

"Are you that in love with him?" Namjoon said.

"I love him so much, I don't know why but it's as if I've known him for a long time, and feeling what he feels makes me want to always protect him," Jungkook said.

"But you realize, the person you are talking about is no longer human, he is dead and he is a ghost, even if you love each other, you can't have him and vice versa," Namjoon said.

"Yeah we know about that," Jungkook said.
