"You are my husband whether you like it or not".
She smiled at me so confidently that my heart moved several beats faster, and my hand instinctively just cupped her face as my eyes held her captive.
"I like to be your husband and you to be mine".
My eyes frantically unfurled, they stared blankly at the grey ceiling while I tried to shake my head which was pathetic enough to rest again even after knowing she always anchored in my dreams like a nightmare. I still have no control over her, she again found a way to pester me even without existing here.
These sleepless nights are driving me crazy.
I moved to sit straight and gasped for breath for several minutes. The laptop was now upside down so the documents I have been reviewing were now replaced with several dialogue boxes on the screen.
My lips were dried and slightly parted, my gaze agitated and my heart tweaked with an immense pain as her sweet voice once again echoed in my unconscious mind. The lone thought of her is enough to unsettle my calm intellect and peaceful life. She still makes my insides shiver for her as if she had never abandoned me.
Slamming the laptop shut, I put it on the table finally breaking the eerie silence of the room. My feet slowly stalked to the window, my cold gaze moving to watch the blooming sunflowers that were reeling beautifully with the morning breeze, unlike my unmoved heart.
"Morning my loving baby boo".
A pair of two soft yet strong hands wrapped over my chest from behind causing me to groan in annoyance. I shoved away feeling extremely pissed off.
"VENICE BEHAVE!".
I turned to shoot a death glare at my younger brother who has grown since the last time I saw him. He finally returned after five years with his insufferable attitude.
He just gave me a wink in reply before sliding onto the couch.
"Behave, woah!" He mocked, his eyes shifting coldly on me, "Trust me if you had also behaved like a caring man, my bhabhi would have been here with me".
